Hahahha,,,i got my power bronze double bubble oredi but it only helps up to 220 kmph or so... i still cant push harder yet... I have to remember, i am riding a small bike.... and i am a fatso... windblast was made for ppl like me.... but my Hatyai challenge still stands...anytime.... hahhahhahha,,,hor Jimmy? hahhahah.... come lah all come, havent seen you guy forever oredi .... will be as fun as always... eye candy also...niceeeeee!!!

Bro zac. perhaps you wanna try out the below mention suggestion?

 

1) order a custom make triple bubble. ( which i guess not very possible:( )

 

2) indian chief suggested that you go "seng kwang" ask them to cut the fuel tank to accomodate your belly. ( Sweee one...)

 

Either one suggestion might help you minimize your windblast problem.

by the way... installing my panniers not just meant for touring but will be very handy for me cos i sold off my car already... touring just secondary ya... told you many time liao... guess its time you should upgrade your memory space or defragmatation should be done immediately.... my "young" brother zac... Last night meet up was really a massive one. I remember one such massive meet-up was when we were meeting up for photo shoot. Meet up at 10pm but all came down before 11pm. A special thanks goes to Rahman who went back home to bring down some more tshirts for us. And of course we have the honor of sharing experience with probably the one and only super female blackbird rider, Virpandora. We occupied about half of the Bai Tea shop, taking away about 7 tables. Maybe next time, we can proceed to orchard Gudang together since last night it didnt happen. Went to Changi Village and chillax again, talking about different gender including the infamous Gary NG. Hahaa.. I managed to snap away some shots. You can view them in the link below.

Enquiry on Road Legal Exhaust System

FEEDBACK NUMBER: 20110110-0033

 

We refer to your email of 09 January 2011.

 

 

We would like to inform you that LTA allows the replacement of after-market vehicle parts, including exhaust system, as long as the fitting of these accessories does not adversely affect the safe operation and/or exhaust emissions characteristics of the vehicle or motorcycle, or compromise the safety of vehicle occupants and other road users.

 

 

 

In order for us to advise you specifically on the proposed after-market exhaust system, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following documents for our evaluation:

 

 

 

a) An application letter requesting for the installation of an after-market exhaust system/silencer (with the type, make/model of the replacement system/silencer and your vehicle/motorcycle registration number);

 

 

 

b) Conformity certificate (e.g. EC, JASMA or etc) to show that the replacement exhaust system/silencer is suitable to be installed for that particular vehicle/motorcycle make and model and would not adversely affect the safe operation and exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle/motorcycle;

 

 

 

c) Exhaust System Catalogue/Technical specification and installation details (including pictures/drawings) of the after-market exhaust system/silencer;

 

 

 

d) Evidence, such as certifications and test reports from the product manufacturer or LTA/NEA recognised overseas emission test laboratories to show that the after-market exhaust system had been manufactured and tested (e.g. vehicular emission and noise) according to international recognised standards; and

 

 

 

e) Purchase invoice of the after-market exhaust system/silencer from the product manufacturer.

Upon evaluation and if we are satisfied that your documents are in order and have shown to comply with our requirements, we would grant you an in-principle approval to submit for a change of exhaust system via our Vehicle Inspection & Type Approval System (VITAS). The application form can be obtained from our customer service counter at the Vehicle Engineering Division or downloaded from the Vehicle Inspection & Type Approval System (VITAS) website at https://vitas.lta.gov.sg. Please note that a fee of $50 (excluding GST) is payable at application.

 

 

 

Thereafter, you would be required to produce the motorcycle fitted with the replacement exhaust system at any one of the ten LTA-authorised Vehicle Inspection Centres (i.e. STAI, JIC or VICOM) located islandwide for an inspection. Please note that the inspection centre will charge an inspection fee for carrying out such a service. For more information on the inspection fee, you are advised to contact the inspection centres directly. Dear BB Riders

 

Just recently gone though the BB forum.Found technical discussions helpful and glade to know that

this old bird still have loyal followers.

 

Been riding my BB since 2002(just a rider,know nuts about technical).....

overall view,excellent bird,no fuss and ready to perform at your command.

Switches from a daily commuting to tourer and sport mode depeneding on your mode.

Had few uneventful moments with my BB,however it still rocks till now.

 

Considering the model is based on 1995 design when it first made appearance.......it is still a sight to be held when seen

on the road........kudossssssssss to all the BB riders in the forum.

 

By the way nice T-Shirt.....Would prefer a Polo one though...........Cheers

As for the bi-weekly meet-up, i am not sure if we are all committed to it but I would suggest to have a termly touch-n-go trip up north just like we did to mersing and Malacca. And in this case, I heard theres a March outing by VirPandora. Let's make it official then.
