BRO anyone of u keen to get the black Gilles Various bar riser. Highly custom able to fit tour/sports riding styles.

Precision engineered in Germany. cos i was thinkin to order from the state any one of u keen to get also cos since i was going to pay for the shipping might as well see who keen i order togther mayber can get better price currently i think should be less than 300sgd for it include shipping to singapore. Anyone keen let me know so i try to order for all FYI onli have black colour

hmmm so one could attain better FC by just getting a new ECU? the new ECU got a total diff mapping or what? saw the ECU was like 400+ right for a recon one?

 

not really though...b4 i changed to new ecu i still get around 300+km till reserve..i changed to the original from fjt(took the last piece,bro bluewitch is still waiting untill now from january coz no more stock)...its not that i dont believe in recon parts..but i prefer to get the 'originals'...its the same mapping i guess...maybe its becoz of the air and fuel ratio..btw im using yoshi 421 w/o PC3..and also how u ride...for me i travelled like 100km every two days from jurong to changi...the same like u go for touring..slight save on the petrol coz u will be on 6th gear most of the time..and also the speed u ride,at wat rpm u changed gear..wat i always do is move off in 2nd,and every 3 to 4k rpm i will change gear..unless at NSHW i drag the gears..or maybe ur sprockets mine is 44 for the back and 17 front if not wrong...

yes bro...going to be ready soon...paintjob shud be done already...left for me to get rear rim from bro bluewitch and shop to find right front disc rotor...shud be done in about 2wks time...cant wait!!!!...weeee!

ah.. okok. thanks for the enlightenment bro.... but i was thinking, if its the ecu, mapping same... what else could be the factor that causes such drastic fuel efficiency? i mean assuming riding style is same...

Hi Cpt. ZR. Your CO2 sensor also plays apart. I recently experienced this. After putting back the sensor. My mileage improved a lot. :thumb:

What about those of us with no CO2 sensor? Mine is a 1999 EFI and I think it might not have a CO2 sensor - please correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Mileage will improve alot,good for city riding but not for track junkies and NSHW speed demons...

yes bro you are right,after changing my ECU i got 275km than it blink.thats with after market pipe and pc.i used to get 230km only.

 

Before that you have the 25 blink problem rite?..Thats the reason why you get the high fuel consumption..Reading from a few international forums,they say that once the ecm cannot detect the knock sensor values,it will automatically retards the ignition timing..Why?..If its too advance,there will be knocking,pinging that will cause engine damage like (hole in a piston)..

 

From my experience playing around with ignition timing on petrol engine forklift,when you retard its ignition the power curve also change,reducing its low end torque but increasing its high rpm Horsepower. Most of our city riding is about 3-5krpm max.(anyting more can lose licence).If the timing occurs too retard relative to the piston position, maximum cylinder pressure will occur after the piston is already traveling too far down the cylinder. This results in lost power, high emissions, and unburned fuel.

That's stupid. What's their reason? Don't tell me Galfer performs worse than stock discs? Racers use them for goodness sake....

This sounds like bullying to me Trueno. Shoot a letter to LTA and if that doesn't work, try the media (Stomp it if you have to). Just make a lot of noise.
