mine highest temp encountered is 104 so far. When traveling the differences can be btw 85-100 which is normal I think. Is ur temp sensor working correct to trigger the fan also?

These few days quite hot bro..dry and dusty too..you might want to check on the radiator fins..sometimes got small stones or leaves stuck on the fins..if all clear than check radiator fan..its should switch on somewhere when it hits 102 degress..

Greysnail :- can fit two radiator fan bro..need to make special mounts for fan..dunno which shops does...but if keen sure can diy..

Regarding the temperature issue, y not fix a bypass switch? so that if u find ur temp too high, u just turn it on. when u find the temp acceptable, u just off it. for the analog meter there's no way of noeing our actual temp coz its analog. for me with the bypass switch once my temp reach 3/4 mark i turn it on and it drops and maintain at abt 1/4 mark. from wat i notice is usually the temp rises during normal road ride where theres alot of stop n go....but on express roads, usually its below 1/2 level mark....

Another simple check to be done when bike running a little bit hot is to check the hoses joints..there can be little leaks that causes the radiator to lose its pressure..

Even a small leak near the water pump seal leakoff hole can send the bird running abit on the high side..http://img.tapatalk.com/cb7525d8-c90c-a5a6.jpg

Here's mine a few months ago..bike's running abit hot by almost 10degress and when i park the bike i get coolant dripping near the side stand area...

Hmm...something new for me...

just to check eh anyone did a chain conversion before?is it adviseable??? coz i noe our birds using 530 chains...if i use 520 or 525 is it recommended? heard some where its not recommended coz 530 is pitch is bigger therefore more suitable for our birds whereas 520 or 525 might not be...

Can bro if you get the 530 to 525 chain and sproket kit..most track riders opt for this setting coz they want lighter combo. Problem is that wear and tear will be more as the 525 chain has lesser tensile strength..

For those who has backache due to long ride and can't afford to buy those expensive aftermarket bars.Got a solution for u guys.Did this mod long time ago and tested proven to ride safely with no issue.

1) Loosen the nut holding the clip.

2) Remove the circlip from the fork

3) Remove the 1 bar and put the circlip all the way down to the yoke

4) Adjust the bars so that it will become higher abit. Not too much, prefer that the screw be able to grip the fork.

5) Align the lug nut to the slot den tightened the screw.

6) Start engine, and turn left and right. If the rpm goes higher while turning the handlebars,it shows that the bars are too high.

Once done, confirmed that u've tightened the handlebar screws.

Here are the pics on the bars of my ride.raised clip (Small).jpgIMG_0243 (Small).jpg
