Don't bother to search at scrap yard. It's waste of time. Most of the time bike shop have taken the parts first.

Which Blackbird video?

One other question - I have Motovation bar end balancers. When I put on the Convertibars, the bolt for the balancers no longer reaches, so my bar ends are bare. Would anyone know the replacement bolt size? Or where I could find something like this? I can't remember... who else had convertibars?

 

The two other niggles are heat (still unresolved) and mileage (28 mpg hwy, not great). Still working on these!

Hi members, pls advise me is it worth to buy a year 2006 Honda blackbird for $8000 which COE expire at year 2016? And how abt the bike parts? I believe the blackbird is fading off slowly on the roads.

06 is good bike just make sure no problem. $8000 for the market now is reasonable... I have my neighbor sell for $10k....

What I can said if you looking for good cheap powerful stable while going fast bb is your bike.

 

Some old timer still keeping the carb bb and buy fi bb..

 

If they willing to buy 2 bb.. What do you think...

You may be able to find the boxes, as they are same as VFR800 boxes, but the mounting bracket set is discontinued WORLDWIDE. Unless got bros here willing to let go(have been looking for a while, but no response), else you may have to make do with V35 box like greysnail suggest. V35 boxes are good, but a little wider than OEM box.
