Nice job al, btw looking at ur impellar, i suggest u do alkaline or vinegar flushing in ur system first, look damn rusty sia, high chances the rust has make its way thru the system

Wat happen to ur bb atco? Ori rad is aluminium. If there's no leak den no need to worry, ensure the cooling fins are not badly as it helps to cool ur rad.

As for the temp, its quite normal even on expressway as the ambient temp also plays a part, simply said, hot weather with low humidity will increase the temp, if hot nite time will also give same reading.its all abt the ambient temp la bro.

As bro Sanasakai mentioned, there's Honda Type 2 coolant, can be bought from Thian Seng at waterloo, can't remember the price, but pretty affordable. Same stuff as the Honda HP coolant for M/C.

 

Have to take note, if switching from HOAT to OAT coolants, mixing might result in sludge. Always ensure system fully drained of old coolant before switching over. The silicates in the old stuff may precipitate out.

 

Anyway, just monitor the coolant expansion bottle out of habit. If you see scum forming inside or on the surface of the coolant in the bottle, it may be a good time to check out the cooling system.
