Brother dzqv53 how long hv u been riding GTS 200? coz i m too sick of my SP le, ride till si ba sianz le. Any color is nice for GTS?

Hey guys wanna get some info from ur..........

(i) How fast can it goes?Top speeed?

(ii) How's the pick up?

(iii) Full tank, how long can it goes?

(iv) Low maintainance?

(v) Is the spare parks very expensive?

These answers r based on my bike, which is 2mths old, n clicked bout 6500km

 

i)top speed: upslope=120km/hr, downslope=~123km/hr, normal=120km /hr

 

ii)somewhere between phatom150 n wr200

 

iii)full tank=13L , covers 355km +-10km until bike dies.

 

iv)normal spark plug=$6 , gd plug=$14,belt=$35,rollers=$25

(the prices are wat i can recall, n i'm 90% sure the prices like this)

 

v)it's cheaper than a 2hr long blockbuster weekday movie ticket for normal plug.

Hi Everyone, New Joyrider here! just bought a second hand Black Joyride 200 from Mah Pte! Paid about $4500 OTR for 3rd Party Fire and Theft. Bike quite new, FY Plate! The service was quite good! Anyway initially wanted to buy an X9 but knowing it gives a lot of problems, decided that the SYM Joyride was a good choice!

 

The bike feels really good and smooth, comfortable tho!

 

I'll read up further on the past pages to find out more!

 

Anyway, thanks for the help Kenny! Finally made the choice the you recommended me!

Q. I bought this helmut from Ah Boy yesterday, EVO Helmut Evo4 i think.. paid like $S120, is it expensive?

Rightfully when u ask OTR should be everything ready to be on the road but some will say IU not in lah finance need pocessing fee lah n bla bla bla after u r about to sign or sign liao then LL u hav to add a few more $$$

 

So best is write everything down (black n white) what is in n what is not before signing anything :smile:

both X8 and GTS200 r of diff made and cc is diff also (X8 = 198cc and GTS = 172cc) performance wise GTS will loose out lah

 

Pro n con of both bikes u can run thru the X8 cafe and GTS200 thread to find all the answers

 

Best is that u can try both bike before deciding :smile:

Currently fix up the Big Balance from Kenny place. It feels more stable when riding. I think it is worth the money.

No lah, my frenz bought the bike from southern, the mech adjust some "spring" inside. The pick up is much faster than mine when i rode his bike.

 

Anyway, the real performance parts will be in by DEC.
