The new Spark 135 - with 5 gears, rear disc brake and throttle sensor

It's already out in Indonesia and Malaysia. A few changes like new kickstarter, chainguard with rear hugger, rear disc brake, throttle sensor and a very delicious 5th gear.

 

Looks good too.. hopefully it comes out in Singapore. Some pics:

its the combination of X1R & Spark135..5 speed, rear disc brake..hmmmm..quite interetsing as rear disc brake conversion is not legalized for spark135 in s'pore..inspection confirm FAIL !! and the handlebar, its more to X1R rather thn spark =)

I saw it at agl 2weeks back.. my mec told me is the new spark. but it is still in 4 gears.. idk is he see wrongly or what.. haha

i tried to search in the internet but there isn't any description that says the 2011 spark has 5 speed. it's still 4 speed. dunno whether the 5-speed spark will ever come to SG...

there's 4 and 5 speed spark 135cc 2011...bt only the 5 speed has a rear disc brake

heard from my mech at msia. the max speed can only go 150....

even u try to "adjust" the speed to go faster..it will still end up 150..

not sure if its true...

Tried my cousin's, well its just like your old spark and like any other spark, want more power, just do more mods because the engine is more or less the same. Yes its 5 speed. 28 or 26mm carb I can't remember, it looks the same as the older spark.

There's two version for this bike.

 

Clutch and Clutchless.

 

Clutch will have 5 gear and rear disc brake.

 

Clutchless will have 4 gears without rear disc brake.

 

This bike comes with both kick start and electric start.
