I didn't notice the temperature move much except slowly upwards. But I didn't look at it too much when riding. It was my first time riding in Singapore traffic so I was paying more attention to that. But at each stop light, it seemed that it was higher than before.

 

Since I didn't hit the red, I'm not sure if the fan kicked on. Is the fan very loud when it turns on?

 

The surrounding temp was around 35 degrees.

 

The coolant I didn't check since I just picked it up from AS Phoon and they said that they topped it up that day.

 

the fan is not loud at all... if loud, that means something wrong with the fan already lol.

 

i think u might want to visit ur mechanic for advice because since it is ur first ride, u might be gan cheong abt something that u might not need to worry abt.

 

or if u want, u can go to wonderful motors and look for botak for advice or check. he is friendly.. lol.... or u can contact me at 82001514, cos i going down tomorrow to wash the bike.

[Q]Do you guys feel when you travel above 80km/hr ,the wind blast is unbearable??? i am wearing open face, and i find the wind blast very annoying.

the loudness is like traveling at 140km/hr on my previous ride.

any idea how to rectify this problem???

 

u might need help from ..... zhu ge liang .. to control the wind lol. hey just a joke only...

mine is slightly better than bro horizoner.. abt 29-30km per litre.. but my cc is slightly smaller too.

Smaller cc? not all x8 or x9 are 200cc? I'm planning to get a scooter which has better fuel consumption.. 4 stroke vespa, x8 and 9 are my choices. Anyone can direct me?

Hi, new here. I'm going to buy a 2nd hand X9 in 2 days. Any suggestion what to look out for whether bike is good condition?

 

Also after taking over, what should I replace first? engine oil, oil filter, air filter, disc brake, etc? thanks

thanks bro for the map.. need to change batt soon and has not even reach a year ! guess a sound system on x9 will deplete the batt life much more faster.

Today 1st time riding my X9, quite a relaxed bike and pretty stable. Going at 100-110 is still smooth. But nothing to grip at the crotch feels funny...

 

Anybody has a recommendation for some foot rest? I went to Future Scootering but they don't carry anymore
