After 1-2 weeks of riding, I notices something weird/diff. Do X9 steering so sensetive to road?? like a small stone or a diff in road level. The steering will like move or follow the road level?

example-- 2 lane road. 1 side is maybe just patch or re-surface. a diff of 1mm in height. I travel in the middle of the road. The steering like follow the line the road. Is it normal or not?

Ehh... probably either fork too soft or tire not enough air.

My ex-x9 fork setting was grade 10 oil at 170ml. **But that's my own preference. You may choose less ml for softer and more for harder.

Tire pressure I set at front 210 and rear 230 I think. **Measured when cold... i.e. not travelled or travelled not more than a couple of km.

So we've got the problem! Well, maybe just some adjustment to be done. No leaking or anything right?

Maybe just don't install back. Voltmeter doesn't do much except kinda comestic.

voltmeter quite important as our scooter can only electric-start.

to me, most important because of the sound system.

I have the impression that with Alarm, if someone tamper with your bike and the alarm goes on, he more dulan, then kick over the bike! :giddy: I keep having this thought and phobia. Lol!

worse is, when alarm goes off, drain ur battery, and u wont be able to start it.

Tire pressure I set at front 210 and rear 230 I think. **Measured when cold... i.e. not travelled or travelled not more than a couple of km.

my mechanic told me to set for tire 220 and 240 which is the ideal.. and after running 18000, still in gd condition. no premature wear and tear mean should be the right pressure.

forgive if this sounds stupid, do you guys change your front tyre by mileage, wear and tear or by age?

for my case, my front tyre (gold standard) is over 20,000km in mileage, around 1 yr old, but it's still look very new, the threads are still very deep.

any advise? thank you. :)

c'est la vie~

well, it depends.

Sometime the tyre threads might still look deep enough to go another thousand kilometre, but if the compound of tyre is harden, and you feel slipery, then is time to change.;)

With every good wishes

Only Gold Standard for X9.

They are made for each other.

The rear normally can tahan abt 1 year++ and the front lasts twice as long.

Hi X9 bros...sorry 4 my silly question

1. anyone install power abuser? and how much? thinking to install it..

2. My bikes suddenly lost power, I already change oil filter, oil, air filter change spark but i havent change belt (do you know how much to change it).

before rpm 6000 = 80 km/h now need rpm 7000 last month my x9 easy to reach 120 km/h now not even 110 km/h :giddy: and the worst part my fuel consumtion last month full tank 350 km...this month 305 km :giddy:

any one ever kena this problem??

3. How many time per month do you guys check u'r tyre pressure

4. my fork have funny sound (soft but irritating i only hear it when i off my engine when parking), is't posible to ask mecanic to add oil or something

5. How much cost to change steering cone??

Tq.... sorry to ask so many question.

Posted

1. Small CC bike no need the Power Abuser thing. Won't feel any difference.

2. Go check: Belt, roller, variator surface (deformed) or clutch.

3. No fixed duration. Personally, I abt once a month.

4. Fork oil should change abt every year. Use grade 10W fork oil and set betw 150ml to 170ml would be ok.

5. Steering cone ard $100++.

Maybe can try use very thin layer of engine oil? I myself is using Armourall.

A question for you all. The mileage of X9 Evo before hitting Reserve is around where? Mine hit Avg 320 before hitting red. Pump about 13-14L.

Also my fuel gauge even pump full tank will never hit full. Max will only be @ 1 mark above half. Big problem or normal?

My Evo 250 used to hit reserve at 360km.

Once travelled till 420km still not empty yet.

But hor... I gentle pickup and cruise (90km/h) mostly highway from east to west, single rider.

Washed airfilter every month.

Oil change every 5k (Mutol 7100 only cos other 15W50 oil will see consumption drop a bit and feels heavy)

Spark plug only bought at Piaggio cos 250cc use diff plugs. Furthermore, this plug other bikeshop normally don't have.

voltmeter is important, is not comestic. It show u the life time of your batt and also the magnet coil and recifier.

without it, u may not know when your scooter batt. gonna die...
