Saw that n another lone harley at the hotel we stayed.

The avg speed shld b 150+-5.

 

That means u guys managed to avoid the heavy jam that was caused by 3 minor accidents along NSHW after Ayer Keroh. Not to mention the crazy queue for fuel at Pagoh Esso....

 

 

We met that Harley (8888)too.... wonder the pillion is his wife or daughter

 

What is the max speed you clocked on your B650? I clocked 170kmh sustained... there is a cut off at that speed....acceleration to that speed is no problem even in an upslope... Mine is the SW600

Is there an overtaking switch? I am riding a JDM and it does not have one....

 

For the Over-Rev button, only the JDM 400 has it. JDM 600 & EURO 400 dun have.

I had an opportunity in this Penang trip to try bro SW9000's Euro and made some observations.

 

Power wise, can't compare as 1 is 600cc while the other is a 400cc.

 

Really??? my friend used to owned a JDM 600 fitted with a Arrow slip-on exhaust. i let him try another friend's Euro 400 and to his surprise, the Euro 400 was much thorquey and the mid power was better. the JDM only had slightly better top speed.

Still on the stock... everything on the bike is stock and was on Mineral Engine oil... this morning just changed to Synthetic oil 1st time in the bike's life...

should be doing 16k oil/filter change these few days, considering 300v but FS charging $25/bott leh

I changed 7100 10w40 cos I do not want the 15w40. I wanted to try Maxima but they only have the 15w50 at $21

7100 Ah chong told me $21 but cashier charged me $24. (I still got 800ml left over, if you need 200ml let me know)

 

Changed Filter at $18

 

Changed final drive oil at $8

I went FS this PM too...

To see 'ppl' and check my clutch housing. Got squeeky sound when move off.

 

Found out that the clutch bell gone liao (19.5k mileage). Scratches all round and metal bits stuck to the clutch pads.

I've seen similar failures on 2 SW at FS before. Never thought happened to me so soon.

 

Anyway, changed a new set costs me $200. Ewwww.

Must factor this into my future maintenance cost liao.

Yah. They sent someone to pick up the parts and change.

 

The Caltex nearer to Paya Lebar Rd. Many cars queue up over there.

But now I think they charge quite ex also, especially for chemical wash.

I might want try JB or GP next time.

Damage $180/- for Front and Rear.
