HELP NEEDED!

anyone can giv me solutions as how to solve this issue...my start up after loggin in takes about 20 mins before evryting is ready...IT xperts out there help me!

High chance you have some sort of virus/spyware attack.

 

1. Login and do a virus scan and remove the virus. Check for any suspicious process under the task manager and try to delete the executable file causing the problem. If you see the CPU process is always 100% or very high, high chance it's a virus attack.

 

2. Possible maybe a spyware too. Do a scan and try to remove it. There are some online virus/spyware scanning on the net for free. Do a search for it.

 

3. Maybe u have too much start-up programs but I do not think it's very highly. 20mins is too long.

 

4. If you are running windows xp, try to do a System Restore. I was hit by something strange and have a similar problem like u. extremely slow startup. It works for me. Try to restore to the date before you have the problem.

 

Start - All Programs - System Tools - System Restore.

i can't do the system restore...the com say i could not complete the system restore...haiyoyo...
