@shunoski: if i go home and take shower i won't wanna go even down 1 floor to cover my bike...which is why i never cover my bike! hahaha!

seriously though...there must be a way to cover the bike so your exhaust won't burn your cover...maybe figure out which part of the cover will touch the exhaust and then stitch some additional heat resistant material there?

regina huh, wahaha, they see my face confirm sian de:cheeky:

i just bought a HJC FS-3 helmet from motoworld, quite a nice n comfy open face helmet, visor will not filp up tat easily during high speed, price is considered reasonable to me in terms of protection n quality, $180:faint:

wa... top up $60 can get HJC FG-15 liao... a very good quality FF helmet, i currently using happily.

Class 2B - 26/03/2009

Class 3 - 10/07/2009

How long do i have to wait?

I usually wait around 5-7 mins after i park my bike.

Infact I will slow down my speed before reaching my carpark.

Slowly park my bike at the center of the lot.

Very slowly remove my helmet, pack my stuff, brush my hair, etc.

Then cover my bike.

Vespa's exhaust is under and not wider than the body.

It should not be in contact with the cover.

Not sure why the cover melted. :sian:

When the first cover failed me, I went to Regina and bought another cover.

I specifically request for a good cover that won't melt due to exhaust heat.

The second cover is worse than the first one!

Try to cover slightly above the exhuast area? use clips to clip it.

Is it normal for water to seep tru the rain cover...esp heavy rain....my cover very thin...when heavy rain sure gt water seep tru.

I thought you like full face? :cheeky:

arai tour cross also can protect the chin, i got it cos it suits my bike decal:angel:

a spare helmet is gd for pillon too, HJC FS3 quite comfy too, the visor is gd too, DOT approved:cool:

but it pays to own an arai, its not well known for no reason

sometimes i use 2 covers water still seep thru!

if secured properly, no water or mininum water will seep through.

is ur cover damaged due to mishandling?

i think its more of your personal riding. No one will be the same, some need more some less. I know some only went for 2 to 3 CR but passed their TP. I went for about 15 CR and 5 RR

go for as many as you feel you need...nobody else will know if it is enough...as already stated by dafansu :)
