ssdc using cb750 for class 2.

to answer your 2nd part of your question. it does not matter whether you enrol now, tmr or next month, cos the earliest tp dates are after april.

wef 1 april all tp theory tests and pratical tests are conducted at woodlands.

get the picture?

some useful riding tips for my fellow graduates from ssdc.

a good explanation of countersteering...or "one handed steering" as ahcaibiker called it.

bro! you hit the nail right on the head! this is what im referring to exactly!

i believe we all should master or being able to countersteer effectively, very useful on local roads filled with hazards (potholes, bongtards in cages, etc.)

i will not exactly advice countersteering with one hand unless you are quite experienced in it, we should always try to countersteer with both hands on handlebar. to be safe and stable. but you can really feel the counter steer if you only use one hand...

just a slight pull/push on handlebar and we can avoid obstacles in a fast, safe and effective way. no joke really. start trying it in an safe environment and you will understand the chimilogy of countersteering practically. for myself, im already using it effectively otr, siaming metal drain covers, foreign debris otr and vehicles cutting into my lane. :thumb:

thanks bro scubasimon for taking time to post up this useful and interesting video on countersteering... :thumb:

there are more related videos on counter steering so pls, take some time to view those helpful videos!

erm, to those still not qualified to ride legally on the roads, pls do not try this in the driving circuit unless you seek riding instructor's permission to do so. this is kinda an advanced technique and learners might not be able to fully comprehend it or execute it in an safe and effective way.

you can also try it on a bicycle...

true... but a bicycle and a motorcycle are still a different class of machine, although the principles remain the same..

I've seen this video before, and i've also shared this video with some students already. Its the only way, and best way to corner a motorcycle.

Infact, I do teach this to students who needs help in cornering.

indeed, you were my instructor before when i was still a "L" plate at ssdc.

now that im a qualified rider, i am still learning thru riding by myself, with friends, exchanging pointers with friends, etc.

maybe a lesson on counter-steering should be included into the syllabus of the practical lessons of 2B? something like pillion riding. not a accessment item but like pillion riding.

i believe the counter-steering taught by defensive riding course is somewhat limited and is not the full manual of using countersteering in everyday riding...

buanging in the driving circuit is way way better than buanging out on the cruel and unforgiving public roads filled with bongtards... :sian:

anyway, this is just a suggestion. maybe even corse or other instructors already thought of this idea b4 but not feasible to implement it?
