oh btw, completely forgot.

 

when the rear wheel skid to the left, do i need to turn the handlebar to the left or right to control it?

Need to check something with you guys, anyone books practical lessons via Internet and the self service kiosk?

 

I have yet to book for my Practical 1 slot but for the longest time I would see slots like 1405 and 1855 for days like Friday. Today I wanted to book RTT via the kiosk and kaypoh went to look at the available practical slots. For Friday the time was 1520 and 2010 instead. I went to check out the internet terminals at SSDC and they still indicated 1405 and 1855.

 

There were a couple of staff around and I asked one, the answer was that the timing should be 1520 and 2010.

 

Has anyone encountered this discrepancy before? 2B practical slot timing are the same as Class 3 right? I always wondered why the timing was so odd. 1855 is a tad tough for me to attend after work. Or is it because it's Practical lesson 1 and I should stick to the odd timing?

It's nothing odd.

If it's your first time booking practical 1, then the lesson will start 1.5hrs earlier due to orientation.

 

1405 - 1hr orientation till 1505

1505 - Break

1520 - Actual Practical

 

It's a MUST to attend orientation. They will reject your attendance if you miss orientation.

Ok thanks! Just wanted to make sure if it was made earlier because of orientation because I was told by the staff to adhere to the timing of 2010 instead of 1855. That would have been nasty.

a tip for you, try playing the motorcross game in the arcades... if u can still find it..haha

I have a phobia of the crank course as I dislocated my shoulder once when I fell. This time, I mounted the kerb at the crank course, I stepped on the brake but I think my throttle was jammed thus the bike kept going straight. There is a car that is parked right in front of the crank course and my bike went right for the car. Thank god I stopped just inches away from the car door. lol...

Since you're posting I'm sure you're fine. I wonder if the instructor had to go and take some 惊凤散 (for those that can't read chinese characters it's some medicated powder that's supposed to calm someone down) after that!

 

I think I can't start my pracs... I can't do daytime slots and the only night time slot that I can see for Prac 1 is on Friday..... From next week I will have degree classes on Friday. Tio stuck....

BTW, I LOVE SSDC!!! I'm forever grateful to the SSDC instructors for having so much patience with me! But I heard that some of the instructors resigned... very sad to hear it. Those that are still staying on are still dedicated to bringing out the best in their students. I hope that things will improve for them...

 

Anyway, I work very near so maybe from time to time I'll drop by to jisiao them...

haha, me unknown stranger, me saw u push bike slow slow but steady, me see u have alot of confidence in passing

Yup, pretty sure that the instructor got a scare. You've got degree classes? How old are you?

Yep, pushing bike no time limit so I slowly push. The guy before me was a close shave, he almost hit the pillar! As for confidence, well I just tried to do my best. Worry also no use right?

 

The TP very funny, during the results dunno why start talking about how come so many hit the kerb at the crank course, why pay $25 for a brand new licence etc etc.

 

Paperger, mounting kerb is very common. I remember my legs got blue black for 2 whole months because I kept dropping bike or mounting kerb. Focus on doing the right thing instead of what can go wrong.

No worries, I'm 25 and still taking class 2B as well. We might meet one day. I'm also considering taking the lesson on friday evening.
