have u try fuel injector cleaner additives???

fi cleaner additives fix with fuel, u can buy it from any accessories shop.

other possible problem is water in fuel tank.

Yes I had the same problem and it was due to water in the tank and carburater . Can be rectified by washing of tank and carb . Possibly fine rust in the carb that has accumulated over the years .

Doing everything DIY that I can now.. Judging by the way things are rite now , it is for the best..

Makes you stronger and less dependent on bike shops.

Encourage others to do likewise and help new riders identify fair deals online~ thus making direct seller to buyer purchases.

Its the only way we can push the motorcycle industry in Singapore forward.

how much for cleaning of carb, can diy????

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

unique at kaki bukit, 25 if i didn't remember wrongly..ownself wash is scared cock up the tuning or never fix back properly..fuel should be use own one to wash ba..

cleaning of carb is easier than u tink. look up at youtube. alot of tutorials and google for more read-up. and carbs is a very universal design. once u understand the basic mechanisms, even if ur carb differs frm those in d video, its easy to spot what is what. get a can of carb spray (STP brand), sum wrenches and screwdriver (+ & -) and u r good to go. :) unless if urs is like 4-cylinder, then more troublesome lar.

Got dat problem when riding my cbr400 fireblade.. Went to various bike shops to rectify e prob but failed !!! Spend hundreds of dollars n time on cleaning carb lah, spark plugs lah, air filter lah.. Lastly went to sin boon n it takes no time for e "doctor" to rectify it.. N e "culprit" is 1 of e spark plug hose leaked !! Its a very tiny leakage but have caused alot of "problem"... N e damage ? Less than $50/= ...
