smicer, i got lucky i guess...bought it at $7.5K only...but no accessories and do really know the condition of the bike...need to spend time alone wit it for one night...hehehe...i tot i saw ure bike along killiney road past few days ago..nice bike by the way bro..

tot off changing oso cause the mra cant cover till my face.... but being advise that it is best just cover till below chin(protect yr chest) and it is more aero-dymanic....

during heavy rain oso wont block yr view...

How much did u guys pay for your scottoiler? Went to motoworld y'day and they quoted me $170 + installation. Sounds a bit ex to me...

To all VARA dudes thats heading to KL tml morning,

 

 

Pls ensure:

 

1) Tires. Do a visual inspection on it , for any nails, holes...etc. Pump it to the right pressure.

2) Check the charging of ur batt, simplest way is to face a wall and rev, light brighten up, its okay

3) Check ur engine oil level ; refill as needed

4) Check brake pads

5) Top ur scottoiler level

6) Do something abt ur chain, tighten it.

7) Check all electrics in working condition, signal , horns , hazard lights( if any)

8) Get lots of rest

 

 

Hmmmm , off hand thats abt all i could think of.

Thanks varas, smicer, gen and Eris for your help and company during my many meetings with Murphy and his law during our KL trip.

 

Hope next round will have action of a happier kind.

 

For the info of those who were not there: my rear tyre punctured twice, once on the way there and once back - the second one was so bad it could not be repared, but luckily we ran into some locals that could help me it a tube into the tire, enough to take me back to Singapore... Think the return trip took us about 8 hours!!!

 

varas - looking forward to those pics - can I get a copy. - Even though it will hurt to see my bike suffer like that!!!

BTW, my sis in law working on the logo. Talked to her today, she had to time to look at it last week. Will post the result once I have it, or show u guys at meet up. For now I have attached the pic that I scanned, we'll see what she can make of it. Told her to keep it simple and b/w...
