Also, I don't believe anyone here can come out with something original now lah. Surely whatever they produce, the info come from some examples or materials somewhere out there, whether thru internet, thru books, magazines, or whatever with some company's best practices, CPs, etc, etc, and etc.

 

You mean to say, someone can just take the CP79, see the headings and write a SMS all by himself just from thinking without any references?

I'm looking for good safety supervisors/coordinators for coming project. Project is construction. Shopping mall and office tower.

 

Actually I want 6 but I got prepare some already.

 

I already have indian, Bangala, Malay. I need at least 1 chinese (not China) and 1 Thai. Must be good hor... Anybody got any friend want to recommend can let me know.

 

Good means must be on the ball type, and cannot ali baba type. Even if CM or PM say to close one eye, cannot do that. Don't worry cos I behind back you up.

 

Pay depends of course. But I think reasonable pay lah. My Indian SC pay is $2,800 and work permit holder. My bangala SC pay is $2,000 also work permit holder. My Malay SS pay is $3,000, local.

 

So you can see, that pay varies.

 

For those want to take this like stepping stone, to Safety Officer sorry hor, unless you can convince me.

dear all,

 

i am looking for 3 safety officers. this is a serious offer. no joke one.

 

experience: at least 5 years working experience in construction. oil and gas also can but i am afraid i can't afford to pay.

 

qualifications: registered wsho with mom. eco, fsm and any other qualifications are not essential. the less cert you have the more i can afford to pay you. you know what i am saying.

 

salary: basic $5k and that's all. reimbursement of claim as per expense incurred due to work. don't ask for allowances, don't have.

 

age: 30-35 years old. i don't mean to look down on old ppl. cos too old mean a lot of experience and i can't pay. but if you are old but young at heart, willing to take a lower pay, can take hardship and tekkan by a younger boss, you are welcome to apply lah. must be medically fit (oh come on, which company will take sick ppl?)

 

other benefits: more than 14 days annual leave (which can mean 15 days). base in singapore (it's a job for those who love sillypore). co-pay medical expenses (if we pay all then you will feel like falling sick all the times). no 13 month bonus but got performance bonus (this is to attract performers only, ok ok you found me lah...the company likes to talkcock alot).

They will send u a letter stating the outcome of the application.n if u r successful, bring the letter dwn to MOM HQ at havelock rd n u'll get your WSHO id..in about 5 mins.that's it.dun call or email the licensing officer.its not nice to do so.just wait.as stated, the application process takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks,maybe longer.so just wait...

Distance Learning at $1350 per person.

There will be a two day workshop and even before then that there will be assignments for participants so that they can study.

Exams will be in Dec 2010.

 

Part Time at $3000 per person.

This will be 6pm to 10pm every Monday and Wednesday for 6 weeks. Also assignments will be provided.

Exams will be in Dec 2010.

 

We dont need minimum numbers as we have on going classes.

Last year we trained a record number of candidates and received a record number of Distinctions and Credit as well as Passes.

 

Need you guys to support leh, I was the one to propose to my management to lower the fees until 1350

First you must explain whether course is certificate or diploma.

 

Next you must explain why and who go for this course? Which industry.

 

B'cos, many people like me. Want to know.

This course get distinction can become safety officer? that means replace SDWSH.

if not, can become safety coordinator? That means can replace ACWSH.

if not can become safety supervisor? That means can replace BCSS.

If not, what this course can help?

 

If upgrade of knowledge only, then at least they must know lah. Cos I think many people here first want course that can help them get the job first. Need to eat, you know.

 

I don't know. I look for safety coordinator and safety supervisor, I see whether they got ACWSH or BCSS. Then I see whether they got other certs like confined space, formwork safety, lifting safety, etc. seriously, I never ask whether got NIBOSH leh.
