if I were you I would do a GN125. tthat bike can do stuff man

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

I own a gn125. Currently modding it slowly.

Actually imo the trick is to use ur imagination. Then use the "mod to fit" method. There no solely for the bike. Its more of using other bike spares and use it on it.

to mod a bike, look around. either at the bikes on the road, or at those on websites/magazines. you'll need some idea of how you want your bike to be like. and then work towards it. can always chat with fellow riders for ideas. thats how i started doing mine ;)

You riding phantom right?

Go to PK forum. There's a thread there on how to cosmetic mod the phantom. And post some pics or ask around for tips. The ppl there will be more than happy to help ;)

Just be creative and dont be afraid to make mistakes. If you intend to spray paint, it helps to understand a bit of basic spraying and masking techniques (secondary school stuff). If you want to do wiring and electrical mods like lights, signals, horns etc, you should brush up on some basic electrical circuit concepts (again secondary school stuff).

Most basic cosmetic mods will require basic screwdriver, allen key and spanner skills, and some patience.

Next would be to get the tools you need - Spanners and wrenches in metric (size measured in mm, for example 12, 15, 17mm), a set of allen keys, flatblade as well as phillips screwdriver, pliers and cutters. The phantom is a great bike to learn and work on. :thumb:
