try bridgestone (BT039 or BT090) or dunlop tyres.

You might consider Pirelli Sport Demon, front 110/70-17 ; rear 140/70-17 ....

I'm downgraded frm s4 6mths ago bcoz healthy issue. Evenly save fuel cost but still miss my s4 so much bcoz it stability & power. Will back to s4 1 yr later when get well.

 

Hi W17 able to share the difference between S4 and cbr250, the vibrations, heat during riding, riding position(more sporter than S4?), feel comparing with S4 etc. i know power will be lesser but i feel that more than enough for singapore road.

 

I on S4 now but also feel like getting cbr250R, looks nicer.

SparkEnzo: is your bike new? i am abit hard on the throttle and i got about 320km before reserve...

 

i tink your bike can go faster.. tried mine with pillion as well on BKE and got 135km/h just by dragging my top gear.. it should be able to go faster from a rolling start..

 

Tried mine at Johor Circuit, Pasir Gudang last Good Friday.. I got 147km/h on the back straight. definately the bike is capable of higher speed coz need more road and the back straight is an uphill.

 

Try switching gears just before e rpm hits e redline. guess that will help.. just my two cents..

 

we did dyno run on the cbr250,mc41,

max torq is at 7.5k rpm which produce abt 22.7 hp

max bhp 23.0 is at 8.0k rpm....

 

try changing gears at 8k rpm, then push the bikes limit, my cbr250 clock over 170kmh, max top speed 178kmh (rpm redline)

im running on stock cbr250, no modification..yet, cheers brothers

Bridgestone BT090, front 120/60 rear 150/60, Cost $320,

What I can say about the tires, the grip is superb, very stable when u make a turn,both tires light weight,

Definitely Better than stock tires,

2) Fuel Com: CBR250R@32km/l & S4@21km/l.

3) Stable at Hi-Top Spd: CBR250R@Steer n rear handle vibrate & S4@excellent.

4) Engine Sound: CBR250R@Scary & S4@vrooom.

5) Engine Heat: CBR250R@Warm Leg & S4@Boil Egg.

6) Ride Position Comfortable: CBR250R@short Dist Only(Neck & Ass pain) & S4@Long Dist good(Tried 200km continously ok).

7) Brake Dist: CBR250R@Long & S4@short.

8) Maintenance Cost: CBR250R@Cheaper(1 cylinder only) & S4@higher( x4 cylinder).

9) Overtaking Ability: CBR250R@MOSt of Class 2B unmodify bike & S4@MOSt of the road bike except class 2.

10) Tyre cost: Not much diferrent with same model(Exp BT90). CBR250R@$305 & S4@$315.

Wow! Must find some butterfly corner to enjoy it.

I tried it on my ex S4. No doubt for the griping but which is low mileage tyre ard at 14000km only.

Once nailed, the repaired hole easy leaking due to the tyre thickness thin(tas why light weight).

Becareful, pls avoid road shoulder riding at all time.

fitt on a pirelli sport demon for front & rear, stock size (not enough cash eh, bcoz still student)

weighted abt 80 kgs, 184cm

mileage is abt 20k +, travel alot...esp from jb to kl

ATV? Really cool ! R u enter right site? We r in street bike section.

Can-Am Spyder is the only atv i saw when i stuck at Tuas CP.

Can-Am Spyder only can enter car counter in CP. Means need to consider 4 wheeler traffic condition when use.

Hi guys... I jus bought my cbr250r last month... Was riding fazer and downgraded as my class 2 got revoked...

I'm actually happy with the bike as i think it's jus nice to ride in Singapore as i only ride to work...

Need some help as i'm not sure when to change the EO and wat r the modification can be done on this bike

to make it perform better... Would be a great help guys... Thanks...
