Hi, I've noticed this model of bike is getting less and less, and no one is selling. Anyone know why...

its old, heavy, vibraty, and yearly replacement of the magneto coil @ $500++ is some of the reasons why the nos. are getting lesser ... early models of 96-97 has cylinder head cracking problems ...

 

however LC4 or superdukes with e-start 98 onwards ... can be reliable workhorses (crappy issues more or less resolved) but heavier in terms of weight and not as powerful as other japs 400cc ...

 

also the aftermarket accessories both performance and cosmetics are limited ...

 

but some are known to be converted to look like the 640 Adventure ....

 

all the crap mentioned above are based on my own experience of owning the KTM LC4 and the SuperCom 400 and what I have seen with my own eyes ... you might or might not agree depending on your own opinions and experiences ...

 

other than that ... its the cheapest Orange you can buy and own ...
