just a correction. I actually paid $12.3k. $11.8k is based on $1.5k COE price. Wth right.. but nvm. cos i paid $12.3K OTR. $9.5k (machine) + $2078 (COE) + $545 (insurance - NTUC) = $12 123. so i just treat the $200 amt as admin fee, road tax and etc. not that bad la since can downpayment only $1.5k instead of the other option.

 

surprisingly cheap insurance, cos previous bike's insurance is abt $400 just for 3rd party only. hello all!

 

Did you get it from dirt wheel. So how the ride so far? Hope you could share your view about this ride

 

 

It's upright riding position like motard. Sharp handling, great brakes. FC is pretty good too.

hey fellow dukers, since launch event i'm getting tired of carrying me own helmet, wonder how am i gonna put a box on the duke. any ideas, need to brainstorm here!! i guess if im able to make it custom made, that would be awesome. any ideas guys?

I reckon fair bit of mod is required to get a box on.

 

Try Lab or chiap lee if they can mod bracket for you. Note screw points on edges are weak. Meant to hold panels only. Strong bolt points are below rear light, below rear seat where rear pegs are bolted.

 

Alternatives, U lock, lock helmet to hand bar.

Sorry not sure about the strength to hold a box. Why not get a bagster tail bag that converts to backpack?

Saw a Duke this evening P-plater at yew tee. Thought it was Bakwei.
