Demba Ba scored 7 goals in 13 appearances for West Ham.. That is actually very good stats for a striker playing for a club that has been relegated..

West Ham offered Ba $50,000 per week to stay with them but he rejected them because he wants to play in the premier league. Newcastle was shocked of his high wage demands.. This is what I read from the news lah..

So long as he's good, should b money well spent I guess. Now the sad sad news is that Nolan is having a medical at west ham n Newcastle had confirmed an agreement of undisclosed fee. Barton is angry over this n said that he may walked out of club with Jonas. That's according to soccernet. Whereas another reports states Barton is keen to stay.

Just in case the rumors are true, Including Jose, then that will b four key players leaving!!!!!! Hope rumors are still rumors......

Read about that too. Hope the other 3 stays. If not we will be having another major problem in replacing them.

Well, sad....its confirmed Nolan has left the club......

Come to think about it, only West Ham are interested in him. Is it because of Sam Allardyce?

Some news:

21.11: According to the Newcastle Evening Chronicle, Alan Pardew is “closing in on a double deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Switzerland midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta and Saint-Etienne’s highly-rated Blaise Matuidi - while Demba Ba is expected to be unveiled by the end of the week”.

Man v.1- i reckon big sam is definitely one of the reasons why Nolan signed for the hammers

Probably an update on the confirmed transfer for fellow geordies who had not followed the transfer deals closely.

In

Mehdi Abeid (Lens)- midfielder

Yohan Cabaye (Lille)- midfielder

Demba Ba (West Ham)- striker

Sylvan Marveaux (Rennes)- midfielder

Out

Sol Campbell (released)

Shefki Kuqi (released)

Kevin Nolan (West Ham)

Ps : feel free to update and correct if I'm wrong....

I stayed up to watch the whole game and in the first half, Newcastle were outplayed by Scunthorpe. In the 2nd half, they played much better and they deserved an equaliser through R.Taylor brilliant freekick. Then in extra time, Sammy Ameobi netted the winner with a stunning strike. Imo, he played very well and caused much problems in the left wing after replacing Demba Ba who's totally lost in that match. Well done lads!~

Next up, against Fulham at home tomorrow!

Strange.... I tried to record but can't.

Anyways, BPL game 3, a home game against Fulham... 2-1, two goals by Best! So far so good!

Yeah even though our performance once again was not the best, 3 points are what matters most. But Best had the best of game scoring 2 goals and finally Ba had something to contribute with an assist to the second goal.
