For Phantom 200, recommended chain freeplay is 20-30mm. Stock bike has the chain too loose, so definitely must tighten abit once u got ur bike. Re-adjust again if you change ur tires...

i thought 40-50mm

Do make sure the residue are washed & clean properly & thoroughly. This will take at least an hour job for a nice & clean job.

Vespa,

The information is in the user manual found in the Phantom thread.

Clear instructions and graphics included.

The tools for the job come with the bike.

1. The spanner to loosen the rear wheel nut

2. Size 10 and 12 spanner to tighten/loosen the tightenening bolt

3. Adjust to ensure the rear wheel are align properly.

Cheers

can somebody tell me the differences of x-ring o-ring.. normal, gold chain etc..

how they affect wear n tear of the sprockets n maybe which type of chain lasts longer, more durable, no need tightening maybe..
