To all bikers,

Beware of this shop at Yishun Industrial Park call I-T**E.

Went down yesterday to do some work on my bike. Bloody mechanic work on my bike for 20 plus mins. Then he tell me he can't do the job cos 1 of the nut he can't remove. He told me this after putting back everything. I was thinking, bike shop can't remove nut and that's it???

I then went to another shop and they did the job with no problems at all.

I went out at night to pick up my wife and i notice my speedo is giving me wrong reading. I check it up online and found out that its the speedo feedback nut that's giving me the wrong reading. Then I put 1 + 1 and it struck me why the mechanic says he could't remove the nut. :slapforehead:

It's because he knew he broke the speedo nut when he was dismantling my bike. So he just put back everything and just claim he can't do the job.

WTF!!! This is the last time I'm patronizing that shop.:angry::angry:

Just for sharing.

sorry for u bro. i think its safer to always visit a shop that a friend recommends.

You sure?? A famous shop in bukit merah broke my 2t pump right infront of me and he told me its meant to break.. He told me he couldnt get a replacement for me so i had to run on premix for 2 weeks.. Had to buy a new one that cost 160 bucks.. Went back to the shop and they refuse to compensate and still charge me for installation.. The shop quite famous and it starts with R..

Different people have different experience on a particular shop, I only go to Tune In and Soon Hin for minor fixes..

Even sometimes I ask for advices for certain issues, they're friendly enough to give me some..

So.. It all boils down to different people

You want people to take note of this shop but for whatever reasons, you don't give the name in full :slapforehead:

There is also a possibility that the speedo nut could be damaged by the second shop :):)

I know how you feel man. Imagine ALL your friends all nothing wrong but apparently you are the ONLY one who need to go back to the shop countless times to get things adjusted. So you can imagine how i feel.

YBR so difficult to repair meh? Any recommendations for a good shop which can repair a YBR?

Sorry Guys,

Can't give out the full name of the shop or else I might get shot in the head (point blank). Anyway, I'm not flaming any shop but if you put 1 + 1, which shop can't remove a stupid nut? If the mechanic can't do it, he should approach someone more senior and not just tell the customer he can't do it. Or at least inform me before putting everything back. So it makes perfect sense that the mechanic did something wrong i the first place. You don't need a detective to figure this out.
