Rent a car with fresh Class 3 licence.

Hi bro and sis,

 

i just got my class 3 few weeks back and i intend to rent a car to get around for a fews days. However, the rental websites i visted all requires a minimum 1 to 2 years driving experience which i do not have. i have been riding for 7 yrs and certainly can drive better than people who kept licences in their pocket for 2 years but qualify the requirement.

 

Anyone have recommendation for companies that rent cars to fresh licence?

Riding and driving are different perceptions of space and depth.

 

No one should have the ego to believe that he/she drives better. Unless that person has driven more that enough times.

 

Good luck on your search to rent. There are companies that do rent to newbie drivers like you. But they charged a premium, which you are better off buying your own car. And even worse that they demand higher repayments should that be even a scratch to their vehicles rented to you.

 

I can also boast, that I driven most kinda vehicles, and was complimented more then once for my parking skills. And that was achived thru countless accidents and advises from others. And my abilities, are achived thru driving a big enough van, that developed my perceptions of car wheels and distances.

 

Try u turning a aircraft and you will find that your eyes and the actual space you got to make turns are totally different.

good for those on/off occasion whereby you need a car, even for a short few hours rather than whole day..

 

beats taking cab, and u got ur 'own' space for ahem ahem ahem, if needed.. LOL..

@ViciousKitty74: u are right, thanks for reminding. ego can affect safety. looking toyota vios if theres a choice, humble but thats the only model i have been comfortable with. The duration of use should be about 2days, so i bet it beats buying one just for that occassion.
