cars and bike manufacturers-honda, suzuki, bmw

recently i acquired a suzuki, am quite impressed with its performance and reliability. I ve tried Honda civic before, also quite good. Somehow in my choice of cars, i am bias towards these brands because they also have a bike division. Regardless of ranking of car manufacturers, even now toyota has quality issues since they sub to overseas plants for designs.

So i figure these bikes and cars manufacturers must have a workable production line that generally improves quality and reliability, not the best, but definitely above average. True?
