Hi to all,

I just own a 1996 xv400. Need advice on:

1) what is the average fuel consumption? Mine is abt 20km/litre.

2) what is the fuel tank capacity for the one on top n the one below the seat?

3) any after market exhaust available?

4) I know the pickup is quite good. What abt its top speed?

Any kind xv400 ex owner can advise me on the above? Also the pro n con abt the xv400. Thanks in advance

Hi Y2G2,

I ever rode a Virago before. Nice and compact.

Fuel consumption is about 18Km/litres. Always enjoyed the fast acceration from the lights.

Top speed is about 150km/h. i am rather heavy. weight about 100kg. not bad for a 400cc.

Hope these information helps.

Tks chindavid55 for the info. Been riding my xv400 for about 4 months plus. Indeed a very good bike. Now want to mod the exhaust, handle bar and put saddle bags. Anyone got lobang for all these I had mentioned. I'm pretty new in chopper bike.
