Hi beary! hey i cant decide which one to choose, a crossrunner and a NC 700x. Both bike is AWESOME!! im in dilema....hehe so maybe u can enlightend me ... or any bros out there who can help me THANX a ZILLION !!!

Go for Crossrunner if you want power otherwise NC for local commuter should be good.

bro..can't help u much on this..

more of personal feel...NC has very good fuel consumption...but, dats about the plus point for me...

CR..mount the bike, like the feel, buy...

i strongly suggest, do up a checklist of what you want or a bike wishlist and do the ticks...

in the end, the one with the most ticks win...

eg. Looks, power, handling, parts, after-market parts, price, etc...

ultimately, you must like the bike...no point buying and regretting after 6 months..u know wat i mean?

i like CR because of its "conceptual" looks...road/touring bike, with a little off-road capabilities and looks.

Good riding posture for long distance..except for the windshield...

otherwise, I'm loving the bike! :)

beary, you said you ride with your wife? how is the pick up with 2 up and luggages? need to drop gear to overtake? also how about from a stop position? good pick up? you mentioned you were able to hit 190km/h with your wife as pillion? nice. im looking at this bike and the bigger crosstourer but so far no decent reviews out yet

I have not problem with pick-up, afterall, how bad can it be with V4 and Vtec?

Overtaking at 80km/h and above, got very decent overtaking power...no need for dropping gear, unless u r the very agressive rider type, den, sure, dropping gear will give u more response...

in fact, we hit almost 200km/h...but the wind turbulance was getting strong, and safety reason, i didn't go beyond...

CR is a fun touring bike with very slight off-road capabilities...good pick-up power, smooth handling...

Cheers!

if you are looking for speed, this is not the bike...

I saw a CR with Camo prints all over it. Very sweet......I was driving on ECP and trailed you and kept telling me wife about it. Awesome ride bro. Hope I did not scare you trying to keep up with you. :)

I ride a VFR1200 and used to ride the VFR800.....I think the CR is really a beauty.....maybe should go try it.

anyway, from what i know so far...only LeoVinc is approved for CR now...

I order Remus 2 months ago....till now, stock not here yet..and not approved by LTA as well...sianz...

CR too rare in SG..hence, not many shops wanna bring the exhausts in and get LTA approval... :dozed:

I spotted the CR for the first time few months back, a silver colour one parked at Defu Lane 10. Stopped to take a look as I have never seen this make. This bike was parked there everyday, on the pavement of a automobile repair workshop opposite a coffeeshop. I fetch my wife off work almost everyday so get to see it.

After that, I was thinking of waiting for the owner to ask more about it, but sadly it never appeared again.

That was my bike. But I've stopped working at Tan Lim Motor.

Im shopping for big bikes. Used to ride FJR1300 and enjoyed it a lot. Massive power and virtually maintenance free shaft. Lots of storage and wind protection. Highest speed gone on it is 220km/h. Never tried it since.

Not been riding for almost 2 years.

Im in dilemma whether to go for TDM or VFR800x. Since both has its own strength and weaknesses, i wonder if anyone has either rode both bikes before?

Your feedback is much appreaciated.

Thanks
