Lately seems to have a KMT trend. Word of advice, pls pls dun rent a KMT juz becos you have heard wonderful story. It takes more den juz wearing, feedin toys. You have to constantly transfer merits (thru generousity acts, chantting, listening to dharma) to the KMT,therefore it can go for rebirth. We also have to meditate to learn and grow wisdom, if we dont, how we expect KMT to.

The whole idea is to help KMT to rebirth. Not selfish acts for our own. IF really keen, pls do alot of hmework for yourself.

To gain something, there must be a sacrifice. This is the principle of equivalent trade

wow the amulet there written be2510 is 42 year already bro. treasure it. not the thai calendar is 2552year your amulet is be2510 so 42yrs :)

Thai Amulets do not produce instant miracles. Wear it with faiths and a good heart. Eventually you will see the effect.

Im letting go some of my thai amulets which I had collected throughout the years when I go to Thailand. Do PM me if you are looking for something which u cant find in my post, I might have it. Thanks :)

Sharing a picture of LP Hin.

http://i35.tinypic.com/119qaz9.jpg

Lp Hin was born at 6.30pm approximately in BE 2442, 7th day of 12th Lunar

Month (9/11/1899) in cambodia, the province of Priwaeng, to a family of business owners.

His first ordainment was at Wat Thanakan, Priwaeng province, district of Tabek, sub district of Jang, in Cambodia, of which he was a novice for approximately 3 years before he left monkhood to help in the family business. He then re-ordained in BE 2463 (1920, 30/5), back at Wat Thanakan under 3 senior monks, Phra Ratanawongkha as Upaccha, Archan Raem as Kammavacacharn and Phra anusavanacharn as Mongkholtera. Before the first pansa, Lp Hin learnt a lot from the various monks and teachers residing in Wat Thanakan, and after the first rain retreat, he went on to learn from other masters outside.,

One of the greatest yantras that Lp Hin had learnt back then, and is even popular till now is the Yant Trinisinghe.

Lp Hin as a novice monk had learnt and applied this yantra well, and many masters, seeing that he is quick learner, taught him unreservedly. Lp Hin also became an expert in traditional herb medicine and had helped many people with ancient herb cures.

During Lp Hin's 2nd and 3rd pansas, he became very interested in meditation and learnt a lot about the practice from the masters at Wat Thanakan. It was estimated that Lp Hin was taught by more than 180 monks in total.

Lp Hin lead a group of monks by foot, with the aim to travel to India from Cambodia, but unfortunately, one of the monks in his group fell ill in thailand, where they stayed put for the pansa that year.

After the pansa, Lp Hin travelled into Chiangmai and stayed at the temple of Wat Siridong for a month, before travelling to Sukothai, and stayed at Wat Phuttaprang for another two months. Moving towards Ayutthaya, he came into acquaintance with Phra Upaccha Thep, the abbot of Wat ThangLuang in the district of Bangsai. Lp Hin became good friends with him, and stayed in Wat Thangluang for 11 years, helping with the supervision and construction of the main prayer hall and other temple structures.

in 2478, Lp Hin learnt about Somdej Toh, whom had inspired in him great faith. In order to find out more, and with great devotion, Lp Hin travelled to Wat Rakang, Bangkok, where he met Lp Nak (Phra Thepsitthinayok), the Phra Rachamolli of Wat Rakang, serving as chief abbot then. They became very good friends through profound discussions on scriptures etc, and everything went so well that Lp Nak requested Lp Hin to stay behind in WRK, and subsequently appointed Lp Hin to oversee all meditation aspects/classes of Wat Rakang.

Ever since then, Lp Hin, with great awe and faith in Somdej Toh, started to collected all of Archan Toh's amulets, whether broken or damaged, and when there were enough collected, he would grind and pound them back into powder and mix in Somdej pilan's powder (from pagodas south of Wat Sampluem prayer hall), adding Suriyat Powder and Trinisinghe powder, and made amulets starting in 2482.

All the amulets of lp Hin were miraculous objects, and wearers had very good experiences with them. in 2494, Wat Rakang decided to renew its Tripitaka canon, and its old palm leave tripitaka canon was burnt and made into Phong Bailan, which Lp Hin mixed in some powders and made into somdej amulets with bailan material.

Also with Lp Hin's experience in construction etc, Lp hin was then appointed to oversee the relocation of monks quarters in 2495, and amazingly this was achieved with only the need of 5000 baht, done in 5 months. the quarters were made of wood. Other reconstructions etc, were funded by the donation of amulets he made, to raise funds from devotees.

In 2512, lp hin removed the wooden pillar of somdej Toh's old quarters and made rare amulets out of the wood, the wood was very hard and very difficult to saw.. sparks were often seen. Eventually the wood was cut into pieces and hot stamped with somdej image, with powder inserted into them through the bottom.. these were the Somdej Sau Ekk amulets.

And when that other quarters in WRK needed severe repair, risking clapse, LP hin decided to take out all his amulets he ever had to collect donations for this reconstruction.

the holy well of Somdej toh was also restored, and dredged deeper. During this dredging, a piece of plate with Yant on it was discovered, made of cement and clay, and this was believed to be Somdej Toh's yant. After the restoration, the plate was returned into the well. To this day, people still collect holy water from the well.

Over the years, Lp Hin also preached on gratitude, as a fillial son, he set a good example by taking care of his mother till she passed away. although he spent only 11 years at Wat Thangluang, when wat thang luang needed fund raising for some restoration, in 1973, Lp Hin allowed for his own image to be made into Rians, of gold, silver, metal mixtures(9), copper etc to raise funds for wat thang luang. Thre were also small phra kring images of Lp Hin made during this period.

Lp Hin also preached a lot on how good karma can come to fruition quickly.. that once he helped a woman with a herbal cure, and the woman actually saved him from being poisoned by villagers who had a perverse interest in testing monks who came by. she had warned him in time after he was done with his alms collecting, and instead, she made some food which was safe for consumption for lp hin.

Lp Hin was also humble, and that he preached about how humans are like bells, one should sound only when hit, but if one rings without being struck, its an evil omen

In 2520, the health of Lp hin started deterioriating, but he still received endless visitors whom would come to pay homage to him despite his poor health. In early 2521, lp Hin moved over to Wat Kluay in Ayuthaya hoping that it was where he could recover but he never did. Eventually when Lp hin knew that it was about time to leave, he requested to return to Wat Rakang, where he passed away 2 days after being back at WRK, 1978, 21/5. (BE2521). Lp Hin was at WRK for almost 43 pansas, 11 at Wat Thungluang, and earlier phansas as a novice/travelling in cambodia and chiangmai

Normally when placed at the altar, it is assumed that amulet is given up by the host, hence someone from the temple will collect it. U can ask the temple people if they have found it.

actually, you can visit any thai temple that have monk and is building or enlarging their temple.

You know usually we ask for a small prayer and usually we donate $$ for a tile, a brick, a etc. Anyway, if the temple "make" amulet, the monk will usually give it to the "person" if the donation is larger as a token of apperication.

(you know, usually they tie a string on your hand or etc.)

anyway, you can also requst for a amulet during the "blessing prayer".

I personally perfer amulet from these channel. (not that they are powerful or etc, just my heart felt good only).

Totally agreed. After all even the most powerful amulet cannot protect u if your bad karma is due to be rippen.

May i know where is this place in Thailand, where we can have a thai Amulet certified - I have a old Luang Phor Thuad & i wan it to be certified. It does not belong to me but to my son, it was given to him since he was born. TYIA

why would you want it to be certified? Faith is more important.
