Using it on my oldman revo...Changed the stock airfilter to simota(without him knowing) and asked him to ride the bike. Received a phonecall few minutes later scolding me what have i done to his bike. He says the throttle response is very good.

One thing gd about simota, you can use air gun to dry after washing whereas K&N must dry naturally or use hair dryer..

its a cb400.. anyway, i finally had the chance to take a closer look at the bike already.. the exhaust on the left its not connected to the headers.. just a pipe fixed to the bike..

After 1 yr plus of riding decided to check on my air filter, turn out to be K&N. All the while i using K&N i dunno..LOL.

Wash $10 at Unique, somebody said that K&N do need wash so often..can use untill COE die..Haha.. Plan to buy recharger kit next time and DIY(sometimes u DIY feels better than u pay pple to do the job but anyhow do)

Scroll to previous page and u realize how cheap K&N WAS compared to now. $75. Whereelse last yr was $60.

No other way to check unless you open up your fuel tank. I assume that yours is K&N as the bikeshop says. K&N should be washed roughly about 20 000km..like mine i wash every 15 000km due to riding up north frequently. Those m'sian trunk road are pretty dusty.

well sometimes someone need to become a lab rat if you know what i mean...:cheeky:..no offence...

hahaha...just installed the simota air filter together with the basic servicing of plugs, oil filter n e.o with the 3 in 1 ows too...it feels light and also from the response of the throttle its sensitive in a gd way such as it pulls easily...maybe have to wait for a few thousand km to see how the performance once it gets season...:thumb:

I've seen the Simota filter and the filtering element is like super thin and very sparse. See thru easily. Can it trap particles very well?
