I'm not sure about road and sports machines, but for that pressure it's kinda just rite for scramblers. Tho some ppl pump it up abit more, I guess it's the tyre difference between road and dual-sport bikes dat made manufacturers reccommend a lower psi for scramblers.

The fact is, 25psi is actually way too much for scramblers if we're taking it offroad. Max is abt 16-18psi then. :thumb:

hey bro, my advise to u is get a XR4 if u want to use for daily transport and if u r NOT into serious mx activities like every twice in a mth or so in the wkends.

this is becuz, like most of them have alrdy said..the price tat u enquire seems quite steep..but i think that is a very standard type of price fr DirtWheels. actuali, XR4 r facing out reli soon nw alrdy. maybe its also a gd thing to source for one. u will have alot of additional $$ to do up ur bike after tat. beside, if u can, aft u paid for the bike, u don have to wori abt paying instalmts. cuz i think nw, a second xr doesnt cost more than 4k. so u can fork out additional cash to makeover this red machine. in fact, quite a few friends i knw uses this bike for daily use and its gd bike i wld agree.

KTM is torque bike...e throttle wld prefer it to be on/off while riding...tats y its not advisable to use it for daily use as most e time u ON it only...another thing, e bike itself is alrdy very exp, plus u have to save some for servicing also plus maintanence tat wld come up to alot. :sian: but what to do, its a performance bike :slurp:

:gun: anyway, its jus my point of view lah

well...its still ur choice aft all. u like DRZ then go for it. since its like love at first sight. then trust ur intuition and knw what u want.

i used to have an orange. nw tot of getting an apple :hungry: :D :D :D

let us knw hws ur decision then ...:thumb:

yes blue one is nice too :cheer:

were u at yishun juz nw??i saw a blue dr400 ard 12:15am if i not wrong.

So guys, is $9800 for a FV plate dr a good deal or i should hunt for other choices

Wah ha ha ha, the blues - YAMMI?

I guess the blue must be DRZS with Ohlins suspension, FCR carb.

If got 10K cash on hand to buy you bike and upgrade components see below:

Hey if want to use for transport and get some off road on weekends you can get the DRZS blue model. Then spend some extra big bucks on Ohlins and the FCR and a large capacity tank. Sure best.

Large tank one time pump at a petrol station of your choice and use for two weeks. Savings!!!

Ohlins super plush and tunable. Real cool on trails!

FCR - the single best upgrade to the S model bike. Makes the engine respond like an off-road machine.

I like the S model because it's so quiet; Super4 (ver/spec whatever) riders won't be hearing you when you pass them. The only time they pass you is when they exceed 160kmh.

Got push button start! Can fit kick-starter if you like.

Check out the Suzuki site DRZ400S for more info on why it's cool, stuff like technology of this century not last decade's design, however don't compare with performance off roaders' specs you'll get confused.

Comments above are my opinion - might not apply to you so proceed with caution.

ITS BETTER TO BURN OUT THEN TO FADE AWAY!
