fishz > have, porb that u just dint ask or notice. its the most simple fullface helmet there. ya man talking about tires, im not going back there to change tires again. i know its cheap there, but the last time i did that....they dint do up the brake pads too well...had a lot of squeeking noise.

 

storm > actually i bought my arai raincoat from HKL. but as of tdy...i wld suggest go elsewhere to buy. i paid $70 about a yr back. saw they had lots of stock. but too many ppl having it already...getting common. no la visor got stolen at workplace carpark.

 

swirl > yeah paiseh. just decide to do my shopping while waiting for oil change at racewerks. HJC full face basic. if not duno when will i be free again to do such stuff.

Anyway dunno if some of u heard but this is my story...

Went down on a wed to look for my akra CF pipe which regretfully the agent did not have anymore stock and moreover, wanted to pay by credit card which at that point in time, only ah bee offer... so bo pian..

went there, pointed to the Carbon F pipe and ask ah bee..

'is this for my bike?'

ah bee goes like yes yes!!! 05 model.. no problem.. u got member price.. blah blah..

so next day i head down, elated dat i cud finally get my legal pipes..

so the mech down my tail fairing, my pipes and my tail light as i was intending to change to my race tail so might as well... although i felt 'dirty' for her.. dunno y...

den after trying to squeeze in the pipe for ten mins...

some kyute guy beside me was like...

'erm... i think those are 07 model isn't it...'

i was like... 'hmmm i thot so too..... which was y i dbl cfm in e first place..'

so i walked up and screamed at bee... WTF u doing bee?!!?!..

den he was like... erm... paiseh lah... dunno wad they doing...

they?!?! if u, the boss dunno...den u wan who to know...

so i ask... how now?

he goes like i give u titanium lor... only dat left in s'pore....u special price..

so i was like ok... wad special price??

he went.. oh same as the carbon fibre...

wah.... almost scream myself hoarse...

carbon fibre same price as titanium... sigh... after the BS and u gimme this..

to end the scene... i asked 'so when can i get my CF pipes?'...

he was like... oh... three mths later..........................

can organise a gathering and head to regina...

i get reasonable prices there... including arai raincoats visors gloves and wadnots...

For mechanical stuffs... well... if need den ask lah... dowan to seem like selling my mech like a 'ho..

Poor Darryll, sounds like a really bad experience. Well, good to know that you got what you needed. But still... argh, sucks to have your things stolen like that. So where did you parked at? Not school i hope...

From GP Petronas go straight on NSH towards KL

Pass 1 toll booth, Go past the left filter to Senai airport

Filter left into Kulai, Go pass 2nd toll booth

Go straight till the end when you hit T-junction then turn right

Go past 1 traffic light, keep right.

Turn right at the junction just before the "FALKEN" building.

Go past hump and turn right.

Yew Meng should be just in front of you.

TADA!

U looking for the cheap one or the good one ($70++)? I got mine at Sin Boon Motors at sembawang at about $76. They allow u to try for size, but doubt they will allow u to mix and match different sizes le... I think u can go chong aik? or wadever the name of the arai distributor is in sg)

hey bro.. suggest u go track on a weekend like sat if u intend to go becoz coz other riders where u can learn their linings or even pace urself with them. its really a gd way to learn and know ur own ability. dun be shy becoz everyone of us are learners.. else we wont be there practising. so hope that u all can make it on a weekend instead of a weekday..

1)Dont bother to shop at twin towers there. Expensive stuff...LV etc. Shop near Times Square area, or try the Night market there.

 

2) Zouk is easy to find there. If you miss it...there are alot of kuching kura pubs.

 

3) I think KL got no casino. Nearest Genting. Not so sure. Alternatively, find some carrot head who dunno how to gamble...then just gamble your night in the hotel room and win their $$$

wow! i just found out 1 thing from SIM management...

 

they are totally screwed up la.. they are barring me from examinations, because i missed too many classes in the morning due to a medical problem..

 

i fwd to them a medical note from my doctor, and they refuse to acknowledge it. say they only accept MC..

 

SIM is so screwed up, aint a medical note more than sufficient as compared to a MC. and best part, i wan to see the manager and yet i was told to make appointment to see her.. :faint:my paper on monday, and she told me to make appointment.. my papers already over by the time i see her on appointment..

i got a sensitive stomach, which is a medical problem. what can i do? doctor gave me medication that can last many many times, but only 1 MC.. stupid course manager tell me cannot, not valid. tell me if attend court session also nt valid.. nbz.. now i'm attending SIM, not court. even if court also nt valid lo.. STUPID SIM!!!

 

they only care about money!!! no $$$ no talk..

 

1st kenna cheated, cause they shift us to management hse. facilities sucks.

2nd kenna cheated, they remove sub paper. fail = come back next sem

 

pay so much, yet tio snooked by such management... win liao lo!

I believe all SIM bikers here never experience such a bad incident before. Moreover our UOL course coordinator very good.
