Hepco & Becker Xplorer Top Case

Hi all,

 

Anyone knows is the Hepco & Becker Xplorer Top Case can fit 2 open face helmets? I dun think it can fit 2 full face helmet rite, but what about open face helmets?

The Xplorer is 45L and should be able to fit. I'm using one as well but never tried cos I usually ride solo.

 

But there are screw tips at the inner sides of topbox. One at the lock side, and the other at the hinge side. They are quite sharp and will scratch your helmets if u ain't careful. Mine already few scratches.

2 open face maybe able to fit, but most likely only can fit 1 due to the rectangular shape..

I suggest you not get the xplorer if you need space..

 

Junior and journey can fit in 2 full fAce without problem..

2 open face yes,but not 2 full face or 1 full face + 1 open face. tested with my.

Full Alu is tough, but not for half Alu and half plastic..

 

Because Alu, that's why can't have curves..

Looks good, have huge capacity, but can't store much things due to the boxy shape..

 

To each preference... There's no best box, only suitable to each usage..

I have not seen the xplorer 45L in real life.

From the picture it does not seems to be able to fit 2 open face helmets.

Does any xplorer owner confirm it can fit 2 x MHR/Arai RAM open face helmets?

Full face confirm cannot.

 

My Aluminium Xplorer can only put a scrambler helmet. After putting the helmet in, only got space left at the side to squeeze in a raincoat and a tool pouch.

 

I think 2 Med size open face helmet if put sideways and intersecting each other with the visor open still can, but like that will get scratches easily from the rivets at the sides.

open face must also see what brand and the shape of the shell..

 

OEM top case also cant fit 2 open face..

 

Only Journey and Junior can fit 2FF without problems..

Doesn't matter for what bike, u can get Hepco & Becker cases from MTechnik at Paya Ubi. For mounting it, u'll need a Hepco & Becker rack which is also available at MTechnik. Only question is whether they have the rack specifically for your bike or use the universal base plate.

They are the agent for Hepco & Becker. U can get boxes, racks, brackets, inner bags etc. Probably anything in the catalogue they have or can bring in.
