Starter Carbon

Hi, my CBR400 have difficulty starting especially in the morning when weather is cold.

 

 

I push the ignition button. It crank but wont start up (No chance to throttle alittle at all as it just go dead). I have to crank it about 4 to 5 times before i am able to start up my bike.

 

Are there any ways to resolve this? Does changing the starter carbon helps? MY spark plugs, engine oil, carbuerator all just serviced and changed.

bro if it will crank most likely ur starter carbon is nt spoil. that my 2cent though

if can crank, ur starter motor okay (starter carbon oso). if difficult to start up, esp in morning, use choke if have. cux old bike + cold weather dun always cooperate tgt. if still difficult, can be ur carb setup got prob.

Hi bro bt what if no crank? Den i need to push start to start my verS and sometimes start already den engine keep on stall den need to push start as there is no crank..i changed my batt and retifire oready bt still same prob..

Might be rectifier or magnetic coil. Just check your sparkplug ferst. Battery check with a voltmeter if you have any to see.
