Hi Draggies , can anyone tell how does a dragstar 400 compare to a phantom TA200 interms of pickup ? I wanted to upgrade my phantom to a dragstar but

afraid that the bike might be underpowered, cos the dragstar classic is

really heavy and shaft driven some more.

 

Also would like join you guys in your organised outings to exchange tips and talk c***.

loved to ask u on tat qns, but i havent ridden a phantom be4, so i cant compare the difference.

 

wat's wrong w shaft-driven? works ok for me. hasslefree so far for me.

BEEEEEEPPPPP !!!!!! fatal error occured !!! comparison failed !!!!

 

Cannot compare both bike, but for sure 400c is more powerful than 200cc.. the petrol consumption is even more lah : )

 

i ride TA200 and Drag400, what i can say of my feeling toward the bikes are as follows:-

 

at 60km/h - TA200 - very smooth, Drag400 - cannot hold to chiong faster

at 80km/h - TA200 - comfortable, Drag400 - smooth like silk

at 100km/h - TA200 - abit vibrate, Drag400 - comfortable and enjoyable speed

at 120km/h - TA200 - engine louder and strong vibrate, Drag400 - a bit vibrate, still comfortable

at 130km/h - TA200 - the engine sound like tell me that it cannot take it anymore.. even the engine can take it, i oso cannot take it .. all the noise come out, shake like earth quake, Drag400 - engine louder, vibrate still minimum.

at 140km/h - TA200 - (you can try to down the gear to 4th gear and then rush the bike all to 6th gear and pick it up ... ) ... the next week, I sent my bike to overhaul ... for $800.00 Drag400 - I never tried, u can ask Bo_Mai_Lah, he reached 160kn/h
