got a stupid qn to ask... The piece of plastic that is attached to the front fender (it has a wire going through it) keeps dropping out. Any dragstar riders got this problem?

hey guys... i've got a few questions to ask.. i noticed the speedo on e newer models with a blackned engine have a fuel gauge and a few digital stuff.... if i want a fuel gauge, can i just6 change the speedo to e new one and do some internal wiring to the tank or do i have to change e whole tank?

would all add-ons tat can fit on a 650, fit on a 400? im not reffering to cosmetic changes but more of stuff like the Kuryakyn Hypercharger and stuff.. apparently, e guy selling the hypercharger dosen't even know there's a 400cc dragstar because he's on a 650 in the states... i told him i was from sg and guess what, he didn't know where it was either!

thanks in advence!!:thumb:

Yes. What fit on a 650 will fit on a 400 Dragstar as the difference is only the engine displacement.

As for the digital speedometer, as long there is no changes in term of tank design, it should be fixable.

Dragstar 400 is only for asia mainly thus many will not have known of its existence. Next time type it out in full "Singapore" and the guy should know where we are from. :cheeky:

cheers for the quick reply bro... hmm but im not interested in the digital speedo... i assume that it would not be a problem but im keen to know if the petrol gauge would be able to work with the older models..

and yea i told him singapore... i said it was beside malaysia and he said he thought indonesia was beside malaysia... so i said i'm btwn indo and malaysia... and he then said i should be really small! :cheeky:

hmm so the accs are also all the same ya? a chrome frame cover and custom fender for a 650 can fit onto a 400 la... at least i have a price of mind now.. coz im bidding for chrome side covers and chrome frame covers from eBay for a 650.. :hungry:

thanks alot nigths!

That guy must be petty ignorant!? :giddy:

Referring to your qns on the fuel gauge, it should work as well cos I have previously tried to buy a Kurayakyn one but deceide against it since there is a degree in safe guarding the item.

Yes for accessories as well.

the rear seat is fixed on the body by using one screw.

there are incident that the bike body broken if the pillion is too heavy, hence they enhance it by changing the screw and putting some rubber on it.
