Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for some advice for upgrades to my G-MAX 150.

Basically, I am looking for as much power and speed possible. Given that the G-MAX comes in 150, 200 and 220 forms, I am wondering what's the best route to maximum performance. I'll start with a few questions that I hope someone can answer.

- What are the differences between the 150, 200 and 220 engines?

- Do they all share the same bottom end and use bigger bore cylinders or are the engines completely different?

- How does the stock 220i engine perform compared to the 200 engine?

- Am I better off building up the 150 motor or should I start with a bigger motor and modify that?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chazz.

I am ex Gmax150 owner. 150 is based on GY6 engine. 200 and 220 is same engine but different variation. Alot more mod parts for the gy6 based engine. You can buy some mod parts off ebay but parts are limited. I used to get parts thru my fren in TW, any part also can get. The x-hot is 4v while the gmax is 2v. You want to buy parts i might be able to ask my fren but must at least buy a substantial amount den worth to ship. You can start by NCY variator and clutch, torque spring.

I still got a red 1500rpm torque spring leftover can sell u cheap cheap if u want.
