Clear case is fine as long as the light is emitting out amber.

eh these "Clear signal lights", the bulb inside is orange ah? so next time if change bulb, need to look for orange one is it? ive always been curious about this

Yes you need to change to a orange bulb which is harder to find.

Okay from what i feel from all the reading before i made my puchase, by right, it is not allowed.

Case has to be yellow. However, many vehicles do have clear cases for their signals.

Same as LED, it is not allowed unless it is factory fitted.

 

However, the enforces may have a soft stand towards this. I suggest you 1800calllta and inform use here (:

My bike stock signal case is white/transparent....

Yes you need to change to a orange bulb which is harder to find.

Orange bulbs usually T10s are not hard to find if you know your way around.

Been using clear cases signals for my entire riding life and never had any problems even during inspection. Had no trouble with LED signals too. If you want to follow blindly by the book even changing a screw on your bike is not allowed for it is not factory fitted. If you are scared then do not change anything on your bike at all.

If it serves its purpose why not? Provided it does not look too bizarre. Sad to say this but inspection centre will always say this fail that fail.

For everyone information....

i was being fail by PINOY FT inspector on the signal light cause IT NOT ORIGINAL AND NOT APPROVE TYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN I ARGUE WITH HIM... EVEN JUST KEEP SLIENCE AND SHOW ME THE PICTURE INSIDE HIS COM WITH THE STOCK BIKE.... HE SAY "SEE THIS IS THE ORIGINAL AND YOUR IS NOT AND JUST SHUT ME OFF"
