The man has already won on 2 different manufacturers, and will remain the only Ducati motogp champion for a long time (if not forever). He is also a multi millionaire, he has a gorgeous wife and a nice home in Switzerland. Why not retire?

 

Among Lorenzo, Stoner, Rossi (the so called 'aliens'), he is the only one who is married with a child. His priorities are now different from before. To be fastest like the other three do, week in week out, he needs to risk alot n surely this plays through his mind off the track.
