2b scrambler

hi guys, im in e process of getting my 2b license. would like to get a scrambler. my height is 1.77m. current choices are wr200, xr200 & exc200. like the look of these bikes. not into the smaller/shorter or other designs like tw200. of coz dream of getting ktm but jia you and exp to maintain. staying at eunos but serving NS at jurong camp. east west east west...

 

wr200 n xr200. pros n cons of each? performance, maintenance cost, petrol and tell me everything i should know! heard that wr no longer in production. what abt xr?

 

i will upgrade to new bike when i get my 2a so 2nd hand har.. but anyway whats e prices for new and 2nd hand of the 3 bikes?

WR200 = FC good, Performance good, Maintenance (depends on hw u ride)

XR200= FC very good, Performance not so, Maintenance good

KTM200(exc/egs)= FC very very bad, Performance very very good, Maintenance average.....

2nd hand wr200 how much? my fren said that wr can change to semi-road/semi-off road tyres izt? cuz i like to go play off road too sometimes..

Woah your frend told you that wr can change to semi-road/semi-offroad tyres, first time hear such statement. Not only wr can change, other scambler also can change. Its call trail tyre, as long as the tyre dun have the wording : not for highway use, thats the tyre you looking for.

ur fren riding scram or nt?? ur statement kinda weird. semi-road/semi-off road ---> these two means the same thing......all scrams can change diff types of tyres. there are basically 3 types:

- Road tyres(best on the road, on dirt well....lets say dun even try)

- Semi-Offroad tyres(better for road than offroad.....)

- Fully Offroad tyres(best offroad, on road a bit slippery)

he rides ktm200. its me, i put it wrongly ah.. newbie. yup was refering to semi-offroad.
