IU mounting crack.

hi all

 

so unlucky today. dunno which idiot go break it?

 

saw some uncle pushing my bike away after lunch but i didnt go see what they are doing cos i tho they moving my bike infront of other bike wanna go out.

 

but after work, i found out my IU kena cracks.

 

my IU's side crack and the mounting from the IU to the base rack is loose. 1 of the screw broke.

 

i scare water go in.

 

but the IU is working fine.

 

any place can repair or can only go vicom buy new 1?

 

i need IU for everyday use.

I think yishun hv the bracket. $15.

added the pic. i drew the crack line with the red colour line.

 

went to unique they say cannot repair leh.

 

now secured with 2 zip tie and cover with waterproof masking tape. (not the 1 on the pic anymore)

Some people will send their old working IU. U can get from them.

 

Alternative is go bikeshop see if they have old bikes waiting for scrap and exchange IU.

 

But if course u need to register with LTA.

i dont think it's still under warranty.

 

might hv to buy the new slim 1.

 

cos mine cannot see the display clearly anymore.

 

i wun mind changing to the new 1 but i already spend $480 to change my tyre last week.
