yeah, ur friend is rite. it's fillers b4 episode 200 in the old naruto story.

now it's worth watching naruto shippuuden, currently at 141 ep.

start from naruto returning back to hidden fire village at age 17.

he left for training at 14 n he's back, so far continue story is good.

 

Training? sounds like Bleach in a way. I'm now at episode 164. Slowly getting 170+

Other than that, from time to time I watch Bleach and Naruto.

Sometimes I watch this pretty old anime called cowboy bebop.

 

To name a few, I've watched FMA, GTO, Gundam 00, Fate Stay Night, Samurai Champloo and Hellsing.

 

On a sidenote, I happen to watch the Simpsons (and english TV series) too!

After 5 years of persuasion from my anime buddy, I took the plunge and watched Bleach. I see why it's popular. 50 episodes down, many more to go......

 

Finally. After 3 months, I'm up to date with Bleach. Now waiting for the next episode.

I used to like Bleach a lot, now its only okay. Got really tired of the fillers. Of course the non-filler parts are still good!

For now it's going nowhere. Another month and hopefully back to Hueco Mundo and Battle of Karakura. My anime buddy told me that Tito Kubo has trouble with the manga, hence the anime fillers. Something like that. I'll ask him again when I see him soon.

 

I still think One Piece is best. Good balance of storyline and fillers.
