Newbie wants to buy a used bike, what to look out 4?

Hi all, as title thread. Pls enlighten me. I want to buy a used 2B bike to up my riding experience. Aiming scooters, adiva looks nice. Should I buy from owner or dealer?

Tyre, suspension, engine sound, chain, brake pads, clutch, look out any sign of accident ( dented tank, damaged balancer, sliders, fairings), alignment etc etc

Wow ... ok ok thks ... but is it better to go to a reputable dealer to get an "assurance" ?

new birds dun get scooter... scooter expensive to maintain compared to other bike.. alot of parts need to replaced regularly.. their parts are expensive also.. try some popular bike can be found anyway.. if u like, DECO according to your own choice..

I'm thinking of either getting a MadAss 125 or B-Bone.
