Good day everyone, would appreciate some help here.

My vapor meter for my DRZ seems to be not in full working condition. The mechanic at a bike shop took my meter out and fixed it back in after he is done with the work on my bike. But it started to be a little bit out of order. Now when I start my bike, everything in the meter is "lit up", I have to press the middle button for it to go to the correct working condition, speed at 0, RPM at it's correct reading and etc... Also, it seems that it does not have any more "memory". Each startup the time and the mileage would be re-set. Good thing is, if I kill the ignition, the meter is switched off immediately! Yay!

It used to be working properly right before this. But the only drawback is that once the ignition is off, the meter is still on, for 15mins til it goes off on its own if left un-touched.

Anyone out here knows how to set the meter back to my previous? Thanks!

There is a small battery behind the meter. Try changing it first. It is using the Cr2032 button battery IIRC. Time and mileage is reset because the battery is flat.

If your vapor is tapped using the power from the ignition (like the stock meter), you may wish to direct it straight to your battery. At least the battery doesn't weak too easily. Mine improved after switching.
