Try DURO.....they look like the sporty Dunlops, and grips pretty well......

Got them in JB. Around RM100 for a pair.

I'm no expert.....but I would suggest Pirelli DIABLO CORSA. It may be soft, but kindda last.....and especially you wanna use it for track (keep the PSI at 33min as DIABLO CORSA are design to work on high pressures. Any lower will just cause unnecessary wear and tear....)

I do not know how will it work for your touring as I never done that, but it would definately be more than capable to hold the ground for ya, should you encounter any twisties.

I'm using the DIABLO CORSA too, which was previously on my fren's bike (He changed to race tyres). Use it everyday to work, drink kopi, once or twice a month track, JB pump petrol, 2nd link clear carbon, Kulai if my wife dun mind..... U know, general use. Yeah, the tyre may square like the GPR70s pretty soon if you consistently ride straight, but once a month on track and some road twisties would do the tyre a fine favor of sharpening it again.

The final decision is still all yours. Just my 2 cents.

Now's my turn to get some help.....here goes

Kin Tai Company @ 28 Desker Rd is the main dealer of Continental Tyres. I'm very very super duper interested to try and review the ContiForce MAX, not the regular ContiForce. Just think of MAX as the Corsa version or so.....

So a nice phone call over, and they told me, they are not carrying the MAX anymore, as it was not selling.....but they do have the ContiForce only.....was even told it's not profitable to bring in just a pair of MAX for me with the next shipment of Continental Tyres.

QUESTION:

How else could I get my MAX??? Any other shop selling it??? Could I complain to Continental Tyres that the local is not co-operating and is just money minded???

I hope an alternative shop would be the best. Anyone ever seen the MAX in SG before???

Thanks ya all!!!

Ermms.. abit of my own opinion, no offence..

to me i feel tat tyres and brakes are the most important parts that we, riders, shouldn't save $ on. because they are the only contacts with the forces of frition that preserves our lives.

better go for a tyre that uses soft compound cause got more grip.

personally i'm using pirelli dragon mtr01/02.

squares very fast but quite good grip. it becomes very sticky even after a short trip.

Go to ON THE TRACK they have a tyre review......basically most sports tyre are the same if you use them on the rd only, however, ONCE push to the limit on the track, the differences surface......for eg, a fast rider using BT014 comment that for rd, it's superd, but for the track, it gets sliding earlier than Diablo Corsa, etc etc.....

Go read it and see what suits you best!!!

For me, I'll try a different tyre each time.....review for myself and my frens
