Ok ok......I read wrong  My bad.....

Was wondering would it work for a slow track rider like me??? I'm very practical, as I need to use the same tyres for normal commuting too.....rain or shine.

No money to buy spare bike..... :weep:

got bad comment abt it le....

on wet road.... veri dangerous with 014.....

he was travellin at nshw

then when it start to rain a bit... he can feel his whole bike is floating........ n also another bike also felt the same way....

the bikes r K1 n zx12

Would it be hydroplaning??? Another rider did comment that in Gadget, Products And Accessories's Tyre thread too.....

I do not know for bike tyres, but for cars, the continueous groove is known as the hydroplane line, helps prevent hydroplaning. But then again, car tyres sit "square" on the road while bike tyres "tiptoe" on the road.

well i guess its da new tyre feeling?

as for rain yah u feel u are floating but

the bike lining stays n u feel the grip

ive been usin Brigdestone ever since i switch from METZELER

it is highly recomended by

the late Ronnie of Performance Bikes Magazine for my blade

ive used their BT56, 010 and now 014....

so far wat i notice from BT56 the hotter the road the better it grips

010 it is designed to stick at the corners even when wet

014 it is even better even when its wet

as if the tyre is sayin "more more lower lower"

when u go into the bend

Ermms.. abit of my own opinion, no offence..

to me i feel tat tyres and brakes are the most important parts that we, riders, shouldn't save $ on. because they are the only contacts with the forces of frition that preserves our lives.

better go for a tyre that uses soft compound cause got more grip.

personally i'm using pirelli dragon mtr01/02.

squares very fast but quite good grip. it becomes very sticky even after a short trip.

Min,

just curious wat bike r u riding? u did mention tt u yur tire melt even a short trip..tt tire is PIrilli....which tire?

It is a good overall performance, no problem taking corner on wet ground though at the moment. Tires heats up pretty well and during dry corner i can take them low and fast..:cheeky:

In order for tires to perform U need heat. The cycle of tires warming up and cooling down after a ride is callled heat cycle. Sport tires have rather less heat cycle then a touring tires.

Let say, ur tires have 100 heat cycle. After that the tires degrade to a point where u no longer feel the grip even look ok and thread not used up.

Yes, that y some of the guys here using perfromance tires experienced lost of grip even when the tires are top notch types and lots of thread left.
