for spark 135, is it better to change to tubeless tyre first.. or together with rims.. coz i heard d original sport rim is of low quality and later part it gives lotsa problems.. wat brand do u all recommend for d tyres n rims.. and wher to change?

Posted

i dunno about the rest. But so far out of 3 brand i tried, dunlop sportmax, M3 & BT21 - BT21 is most lasting.

original rims should be ok to use. just change to tubeless tires. dunlop or bt also can.

Sport Attack have a very neutral handling with a rounded profile. I am using my second pair already. Its last mi about 10000km with touring and spirited riding up genting and bukit tinggi. I would said the first 50% of its life is as good as M1.

In fact all Cl2 tires were good, but one point to note is that you got choose the tires on your intended purpose with the fewest compromise.

i've read the entire thread but this thread mainly talking about tyres for bigger bikes..

those mentioned for 2B bikes are mainly BT39 or TT900

im riding a cbr150. wanna chg my tyres and got the following 2 qn...

1.heard everyone talking about how good BT39 is but my bike shop actually recommends michelin tyres.

anyone got any ideas the diff??

2.saw on this page http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products/battlax/bt39.html

our stock size for rear is 110 but BT39 does not have 110 for rear.

earlier in the thread ppl got mention we cun use front for rear. Also, its better not to chg to bigger tyres.

if like that, then how??

I recently found out that most major tires manufacturers actually get their ready made tires from Cheng Shin Tire Company situated at JB industrial area and had exclusive access to view their manufacturing plant. Threads were designed and logos according to their clients ( Major Tires manufacturers ) and these tires were supplied in sea regions including Singapore. I bought from them,Cheng Shin Tire Company,a soft compound front tire, which is actually designed for MAXXIS tires at a very very low price as the tire is not yet labeled with Maxxis logo!!
