Honda NSR150SP Riders

siao liao la.. yesterday i went in JB,,, at singapore custom there, i smelled something burning.. i thot was other ppl's bike or exhaust... the suddenly i feel my right leg there quite hot...

 

I saw smoke!..and GREEn liquid dripping... on the right hand side(foot rest there)--COOLANT? I quickly turn off my engine...

 

Before i noticed all these, i was wondering.. how come my idling went up to 3-4RPM....

 

is it that engine over heat or wat?....

 

my friend told me it's very common...

 

When i open up my coolant cap, i found that, my coolant had dried up..

i remember it's less den 150 in ringgit... not too sure too...

top up coolant and try starting again loh... if still cannot den got to go for repairs loh?

it happened to me before. i always saw green liquid on the fairing, and i always thought it was some kid who dripped their ice packets on my bike. but then i realized it can't be the kid since for consecutive 3 days it kept leaking. haha.

most prob your radiator has a hole, small or big depending on how much you're leaking. or the pipe has a hole.

i think maybe the pipe not fix properly ba, coz he say he go and adjust it......

Thats cool. I'm a chicken, tried 140 on KJE and i felt like my bike was flying off the road, never tried again then. By the way, nowadays i find my bike more difficult to throttle to speeds of above 100, is there a reason for it?

i think the engine is slcken abit, and also u travel lower speed, maybe carbon accumulated inside thus difficult to go higher.......try decarbonising??

i always go hou heng de... prefer the shop downhill... boss is there... his bro is not really good when it comes to electrical....

my coolant licked.. so i went to motor diam.. at amk industrial park 1...asked the boss how much, he say must open then can tell....

mech open.. say the block head not level.. hard to take out and put in...

 

asked me to change, "GASKET, BLOCK HEAD, COOLANT...total quoted me $154..ccb...expensive,,

 

I called up HKL.. he say his coolant only 5 dollars... if i not wrong, must be cheaper than this shop... coz Raining halfway, then i anyhow push to this shop, which had 1 mech onli...

 

So after consideration, i just asked them change Gasket, coolant, asked them put back..

 

Any advises??

i think u got super carroted la.

 

next time do regular servicing at AGL, cheaper and i trust them more than ANY motordiam in SG. Go KHM, xing hock motor.

 

i shd be going in soon, to beat the stupid toll charge they going to impose soon. see who else wants to go then we go together

I buy 2nd hand from HKL, then he change for me. Everything plus insurance 3k++.

if u wan i can ask my fren when they wan to go in den i'll ask u along loh... i have been at agl since 2 yrs back... when there is oni hou heng in the whole lane that we can trust. Bike shops open and close at there. the oni shop i see that can open 2 outlet there is hou heng... from my sp days to cbr to haya days. But now i oni let the boss touch my bike... Come with us and we can share share.

i used to go hou heng. only gave ah hao to do my sp (in '03).. till his other mechs touched my bike and messed it up. then i converted to xing hock.

 

there, at least i know who i can find to do my bike, uh.. actually all not bad ^^
