tks for the reloan stuff... ~ mhh but not much shop do reloan nowdays rite. btw my bike oso knocks when warm up, give it a little rev.

moi flen tested compression for me

but the power canot transfer to the wheels leh

so effectively...my bike has a loss of power problem

 

comparatively..my kips no power loss problem

but has a somewhat difficult to get biting point problem

the KRR stock clutch cable biting range is very small right? i also experience.

hard to play half-clutch...

knocking sound is common to all sps... the clutch housing spoils easily... doesnt affect anything, just live with it.

 

hard to kick to neutral? try going first gear and moving forward just a bit so the wheels turn... should be easier after that. use fully synthethic gear oil, not mineral

 

vibration? also common to all 2b sportsbikes esp 2 strokers, just get used to it. sp is famous for vibration above 100...

cg lower wat.

but if ure bigger or slightly larger build (like me! =P) then you will be more comfortable w it higher lor.

its like my sp is harder to kick to neutral than most bike...very irritated when gonna have to make a stop...if never make it to kick to neutral before reaching full stop...then prepare to clutch in all the way liao...i just changed to repsol 4T few days ago...10W50...should be fully syn right...

2b bike very little shop do reloan liao. btw i reloan from as phoon interest 8% , they loan me up to 3k . If cannot find any shop to reloan can try there lo

hi guys... i think its time for mi to bring my baby to go for a full service liao... anyplace do u guys recomment? n roughly how much is it? to do like wash carb, valve, polish piston, block, coolent, spark plug n etc...

i guess the knocking sound could be due to the clutch housing loose liao or smth

have this problem whenever my ex-nsr comes to complete stop

damn irritating

to cfm whether it's due to loose clutch housing...juz clutch in...if the sound goes off...then cfm liaoz

anyway dont think need to change the whole clutch housing etc lar...will cost u hundreds...read frm somewhere before that got one guy went down to mah motors and the mech helped him to kind of tighten the clutch housing thingy...cost him ard $30 if i dint remember wrongly...but problem will come back after sometime lar...heh

 

and so the gear is difficult to kick only after engine oil change huh? it does take some time for the bike to adjust to the new engine oil lar...what brand of oil did u use previously?? if the gear still difficult to kick ard 1 week later...perhaps can consider changing back to using the previous brand of yr old engine oil lor

 

and not sure abt the vibrations problem...could be due to lottsa reasons...heh but used to have hand numbs when i rode my nsr lasttime also...esp long journeys like frm west to east side...cfm numb one..hehe

i also using the repsol 4T

bought for quite cheap frm a fellow forum member

but dont tink it compares well w/ my previous brand of engine oil

now my gear kick got one louder 'tok' sound liaoz

last time before i change dont have the sound one

but sadly..i dont know what brand of engine oil the @#$%2%$ prev owner used

although he told me he used cheap engine oil....but it was smooth to kick gear with leh...kaoz

i use repsol 4t last time...change back same repsol 4t leh...hmm...nvm lah juz bear wif it loh...so far my sp quite reliable

haha so far i have been a solid repsol fan...use its 2T, 4T, chainlube

maybe its a different thickness? 10w50 right? im using the elf fully syn one.. also hard to kick neutral from gear 1 :/ but kicking to neutral from gear 2 no problem lol..

try adjusting ur clutch cable
