guoren, thats why i dont close the throttle HAHAHAH. im serious actually. dude maybe you should change back the stock sprocket (in ur Ubox). it'll prolly be easier for you to ride first. next time then change back to the one i was using.

gear1: 15-20kmph

gear2: 20-30kmph

gear3: 30-55kmph

gear4: anything above that

 

the bike will jerk, cause its 'clutchless'. actually the 'clutch' is at the gearshift, so you have to get used to releasing the gearshift pedal slowly. it'll be smoother after you do.

 

icic.. so i will learn to release the pedal slowly.. ermz.. how to not close throttle? u mean u r able to maintain all the way till u reach ur destination? another thing is normally i drag my gear3 until 80kmph.. anything wrong w tat?

nothing wrong with dragging till 80, but not siong meh for engine you think? yes usually i maintain as long as i can especially on eways. maybe you're not used to it only. thats why i said you should change back the front sprox man...

 

its a wave after all you know.. i know how to ride it with that sprox (since i was the one who changed it), but i think u not used to it.

icic.. would oso like to know.. whenever i down gear no matter how slow i am.. the bike will jerk forward.. u know sometimes travelling on expressway w 4th gear.. den hafta slow down due to traffic n when i re-open throttle.. the bike no power n i know it will consume more petrol.. so wat would u do?

 

the bracket holding the pillion footrest is a perfect place for you to put your leg while downgear. like what bert say, the clutch is in the gear itself. it takes some time to get used to it, but yeah, there is a clutch and you actually can do half clutch.

 

3rd gear to 80km/h? the engine not noisy meh?

think you better change back the spocket ratios to stock

bert's ratio is a good gauge. but no need to maintain throttle la

everytime you close throttle you can step abit on the gear lever to free wheel

 

fnee sat on my wave-i once, and i think he'll swear his ass off that my wave-i had a clutch that he couldn't find

 

give you a demonstration with explanation of it tmr at simpang.
